Why does this game receive so much hate?

People will complain regardless of the outcome.

 

People hate what they don't understand. And there is also another case that some of the time the product can be really bad. I am not sure what the case it is in this case of the game. But for each to their own in that case.

 

The problem is not complaining (because this has to be done), but complaining exacerbated and / or purposeless.

When people hate something they don't understand it's their problem.

 

Coming from the fan boys of its predecessor games-fanboy of course. Its not that horrible in my opinion

 

People seem to judge it on rather mundane characters.

 

I have not yet played it but I have never heard any friend giving negative feedback. I am soon playing it and see whether I will like it or also hate it.

 

Yes we can't really help it. Because you know the game requires a lot of efforts to make. And not many gamer understand how to properly manage such type of gaming in that case. I guess we have to work around that part.

 

Games making process is very difficult and requires a lot of planning.

 

That's one thing people seem to overlook.

 

I guess it's because of the fact that it's just not one of the good games that Rockstar Games have produced. When you consider it with the other games, it's just not up to the standard of the usual Grand Theft Auto series titles. Plus, I think even Rockstar don't bother to acknowledge the game that much which kind of tells you a lot I guess. Most of their other games still get some promotion (porting over to Android etc.) but Chinatown just didn't get any of that

 

You can't hate the game without playing it so I think that's just criticism. People still play the game even though they still hate it.

 

That makes me wonder how many people have actually come around from maybe once hating it to then secretly playing it. I bet there are more than a few out there.

 

I have never played this game nor heard any reviews about it. Does it hold up with the GTA series? Should I play it? It's one of the few GTA games that I haven't played.

 

I thinink it's due to a few bugs and glitches

 

Let’s face it. Everyone has their own different opinion on mind.

 

Often it is franchise problem too. like say halflife stopped the production. so some things are hated for reason.

 

I haven't tried this game yet and would love to but the copy that I had when I was a kid had a factory defect and won't run on my PSP. We lived nowhere near the store where I bought the game and can't have a refund or replacement. I guess I could try giving the game a try if it is worth my time and is good enough as a GTA game.
