That train mission with Big Smoke is easy once you notice the best positioning. The flight school was definitely one of the worst as well as the mission where you had to fly behind a jet and enter a ring. Can't remember the mission name but it started out in a casino.
Any of Zero's RC missions, those were the absolute worst. I don't think I completed them all on any of my run-throughs of this game. I am just glad they weren't required to finish the story but having that Z on the minimap constantly taunting me really drove me crazy after a while.
Yep. Flight school. I just could not get it. I even called over a gaming friend of mine to see if HE could get through it. Nope. Bought a Playstation-style controller. Nope. So I pulled the plug on the game. I'd like to start playing it again but every time I think about Flight School I just shake my head.
Yes...Wrong Side of the Tracks, and also OG Loc...Basically I think I just suck on a motorcycle. I also hate racing missions, I'm not sure if I'm just really bad at controlling vehicles or what lol. I am ashamed to admit that I tried both of those above missions several times before winning, but I got there in the end
I haven't played GTA SA in a long time, but I sure as hell remember replaying the mission where I had to fly the Hydra through a bridge or something countless times. It took me forever to complete the mission using keyboard and mouse. Not sure if it would have been easier on a controller for me, but nevertheless the entire game was very fun to complete. I actually hope they remake GTA SA in high definition someday.
I hated Zero's missions, it was hard 4 me to get hold of e flying plus they were so childish, the game was Gangstar.
There are actually a couple. The flight school. Not the planes, but the helicopter one where you had to blow up those damn cars. I was stuck on that for quite a while, and we only had to pilot a plane like once? THEY MADE ME GO THROUGH THAT ORDEAL AND I GOT TO RIDE A PLANE ONCE *wails* The Big Smoke one where we follow the train. Big Smoke can't smoke anyone for shit. Period. I did that mission like 50 times before I finally decided to fk smoke, jump on train and smoke em myself. Can't shoot for shit and then he acts like it was my fault. The Claudia one where you have to hit those 4 stores. I'm not even sure if she was called Claudia, my memory is a bit hazy Those gas station punks kept destroying my truck and I had to keep doing it again
I remember that mission, man!!! It's got to be the hardest I had ever played in San Andreas. If I had shot those mexican thugs even in the head, they'd have still been alive after 10-15 shots, which is why I don't even understand the logic behind that mission lol.
For me it would be the racing missions. Yeah, I know, what's up with that, right? But I don't know, I'm just not inclined or have fun in the racing missions, probably because I like the mindless driving in GTA anyway, haha! Flight school's pretty easy once you get used to the controls (and how it's physics work, haha!) But yes, I agree that it's annoying at the start, and Toreno will be reminding you to "learn to fly" all the time, hahaha!
The worst mission has to be the one where you're flying those RC planes. There were evil missions to complete. One wrong move and you would fail it. I hated that mission with a passion.
Personally, I hate all of Zero's missions. The RC vehicles are nearly impossible to control. I always either get destroyed, run out of fuel, or quit because the missions are so difficult.
I don't know its name but it's the mission where you have to fly really high in the sky with a crappy plane and jump with a parachute. I remember failing the ring so little that it often was annoying. Oh, also the one with the train, obviously..
The mission I hate the most is the one where you control a mini plane to do god knows what. I remember almost quitting the game when I got to that mission.
When it comes to the most horrible mission the only thing that comes to my mind is the LEARNING TO FLY mission, that was hell of a nightmare, I tried it more than 100 times in a row, I got frustrated like a lot until I finally passed it thanks to a friend of mine, it was the hardest mission for me.
Wrong Side Of The Tracks was just the worst. This one was the worst because it's such a simple mission. You just follow the train, but Big Smoke couldn't hit the side of a barn. This was a massively frustrating mission.
I'm pretty sure Rockstar has just been trolling us with the controls. They easily could just make the controls simple, but they instead give us those controls. I remember playing Vice city on the PC and thought the controls were a bug or glitch.
I hated the different driving schools for all the vehicle types, but especially though the early car driving lessons, where you have to burn and lap 5 times without touching the cones and fast enough to beat the time limit. It was infuriating, as I can't really see where the cones are, so I keep accidentally bumping into them, failing the mission immediately.
Most of the RC missions were frustrating. Having to gun down the airplanes on the rooftop with that mini-gun was probably one of the most difficult missions I've played in any game. It frustrated me to the extent where I actually decided to use the "slow down time" cheat code so that I could do it. The mission (I think it is called "Wrong Side of The Tracks") was also rather difficult but after a few attempts I realized that by keeping a certain pace and going one enemy at a time it was actually rather easy. I guess we sometimes overthink the mission and end up being pedantic about it instead of just looking at it logically and understanding the objective. GTA San Andreas was definitely a challenging game, but I appreciated the fact that it rewarded your skills and determination. I'd like to add the fact that the very last mission, where you have to kill Big Smoke, was also rather difficult without cheats.
The one where you have to break into the house and tip toe around so you don't alert anyone. I could never complete that mission and subsequently never completed the game. To this day I always want to go back and replay that entire game.
