Overall, Mario Kart 8 is a fun fun game (even though I pretty much suck at it). What I noticed with the AI is that, when they are trailing me, they seem to have a chain attached to my kart's back. They can follow me wherever I go (even if I jump off a cliff!). Maybe that's the reason why they are always able to hit me with items that always knock me backward. What have you noticed with the AI of MK8?
Yeah I have noticed the same thing and it like when I am playing the game I always seem to be getting hit from something from my opponents in the races. Sometimes it is very irritating but I am slowly learning how to cope with it.
