Grand Theft Auto 6 is easily placed as one of the most anticipated upcoming games expected to be released. Since it launches in November 1997, the game has been listed in the top ten bestselling games and has not been replaced.

However, Grand Theft Auto 6 has not yet released a trailer or confirmed rumors of one any time soon. This has created anticipation and at some point, impatience. Most players are used to having new launches on a yearly basis.

Grand Theft Auto 5 is among the top-performing video games of all time and its revenue and sales are noteworthy. Since it launched, the franchise has raked in over 8.33 billion dollars and has shipped over 4000 million copies all over the world.

The game is available across three public video game console generations. GTA 5 was published on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X in 2022. This heightened access but did little for the online community. And the company continued to ignore the press or see the need for an update.

What Has Rockstar Been Doing Since Version 5?
After the successful release and sales of Grand Theft Auto 5, the developer has only released one major game. Known as Red Dead Redemption 2. The game quickly became a success. The company remained busy creating new patches and updates.

The game featured an online version even though the fans were slow in digging in. Another game, Bully had new releases. Players took positively to this update and the show continued for Rockstar.

However, there were two important releases that became important game-changers for the franchise. The first was Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - Definitive Edition.

The company’s daily income rose to 2.5 million and when it launched Grand Theft Auto Online, Rockstar made its clients happy and satisfied. They were no longer so preoccupied with the GTA 6 trailer.
