Well the first game I played a little was GTA 2 but that was only on a friends computer and I didn't quite enjoy it due to the graphics (2D). My own "entry game" was Vice City on PS2 and I loved it.

The first GTA I ever saw being played was Vice City... but the first GTA I ever played was for Gameboy Advanced.... After that I upgraded to Xbox 360 and played GTA SA.

GTA: Vice City on PC was the first GTA game I ever played. I enjoyed the open-world and the missions and it was the game that caught my interest in the Grand Theft Auto series. Vice City was also one of my favourite GTA games of all time. Besides Vice City, GTA:IV was also a great game for me.

I actuially started with the original GTA (yeah I am a bit older than most of you). I remember being so hyped up after playing GTA. I would drive my real car faster when I would get done playing. It was intense. Ah, The memories...

My first Grand Theft Auto was San Andreas, and I had tons of great memories with it. I've been playing it more since I bought it on Steam, since I can play with my friends and use the latest mods in Online, and I feel like I'll still be playing it after GTA 5 comes out just for the sole nostalgia and modding.

Many people started off with Vice City because it was one of the first games that was really well made, with an awesome story line, incredible atmosphere and so on and it ppopularized the series more than the previous titles. I played Vice first, then SA, and then some time later I got to play GTA 3 and then more recently I played IV.

It seems so many people started playing with Vice City, it was definitely one of the games that popularized the series more than any previous ones. I started playing Vice City as well and loved it more than most of the other titles in the series and I've played most of them. I also liked SA a lot.

For me it was GTA 3, but it would take me a long time to be able to do anything, because I had no idea what was going on. I got laid off from work a few years ago and felt that I had some time to waste, so I bought Vice City and wasted many hours playing it. To this day it's my favorite.

I played GTA vice city long before I knew GTA 3 existed. I was about 8 years old at the time and I saw some kids playing vice city on computers and I fell in love with it. It was the first GTA game I have ever seen. I love vice city even today and that game just doesn't get old.

I started on Vice City when I rented it from Blockbusters. San Andres was the first GTA I had ever owned. I always have to end up trying to steal a plane in the beginning.

GTAIV on the Xbox 360 with my brother. He got it on launch night and we played early into the morning, I played it for weeks before I got bored of it. The bowling alley and driving recklessly around the city was my jam! Those were good times... Sucks being older now with responsibilities.

What got me into the GTA franchise was the Vice City game. It was the first game that I've played and I fell in love with it. I enjoyed the games so much because you could do so many things within the game and the missions were very clever and very well put togheter.
After I finished this game I started to play a lot more GTA games.

I started with the original GTA, but I didn't really play much of them until VC. I didn't find that the storyline was strong enough to keep me going, so I'd do sandbox things until I got bored and just put the game away. It was the same with every game until VC. I had the same issue with IV, it being far from my favorite.

My first GTA was GTA III. It was the first GTA that didn't use a top down view and I'm pretty sure it was the one that launched the series into great popularity. It was nothing short of amazing back in the day, and I think it still holds up very well when I replay it every once in a while. It's probably still my favorite GTA, but that's most likely because of nostalgia.

My first one was GTA III, and also the one I played the most. Back then my PC wasn't able to run newer GTA titles, so I used to stick to GTA III. Still, I was a child back then, and never really understood the story. That's why I like San Andreas the most. And also for the bigger map.

Yeah that is so true, many of my friends and including myself feel this way about VC, it just doesn't get old, it just remained a classic for the people who played it first and at the right time. I could replay it any day and it would be just as entertaining.
