You can't be given tips unless you showcase some of your work or tell us what it is that you're trying to improve on. Either way, practicing anatomy is always a very important thing.

Yeah I have no control over a pencil when I draw. I wish I could. But for some reason what I visualize in my head, NEVER appears on the paper no matter how hard I try.

It's all about practice. Continue to try, and you will improve, it just takes time.

MOstly my problem is that I don't even know where to start on the canvas or even paper for that matter.

I am good sketcher, Drawing was my hobby when I was young and so I can draw easy things very well.

I have won two competitions in drawing when I read at high school.

Outside of tracing, stick figures are the best I can give you. Yet being the huge fan of hand-drawn animation that I am, you'd think that I would've given this more attention... But it just never turned out that way. Guess it didn't matter enough to me for me to make time for it.

But it's definitely something I'd love to learn. Just have to be more disciplined about carving out the time to practice.

It is great that you want to learn drawing but that is not very easy. You will have to be dedicated to it and give it some time everyday / regularly. It is just as hard as building up muscles at a gym. Anyways, Best of Luck.

^ I get the vibe that it'll be harder than learning to write with my left hand after a lifetime of neglecting it. Appreciate the support/advice, friend.

Please never mention it, friend. Learning about anything new is always great. Anyways, will you also like to learn color filling, after all a drawing is in complete without colors.

    Best of Luck, Again.

    I'll keep that in mind.

Might even upload some tries to this thread when I get the chance.

I used to be decent but that was only because I practiced,
I got lazy and now I suck all over again...

I found that bathroom stalls attract a lot of viewers. Some even go back to revisit my work.

I'd honestly say that I'm an average artist. I am trying to improve my artistic abilities as well though.
