I remember having so much trouble with controlling helicopters the first time around but after a while I was a pro at them and was enjoying them very much. Definitely much easier to get around than using cars.
The worst is to find out all the keys and what each key does, what happens when you combine certain keys together and such details. Like if you only press the gas, it'll go up, so you need to press the key to go frontward as well, but then it'll fall down if you keep pressing both all the time.
Yeah definitely. You have to balance it a lot more than driving a car because on that all you have to worry about is pressing accelerate and the direction buttons, plus, helicopter controls are a bit sensitive so you'd really need to get familiar with how well you mix the button presses.
I love the planes. I was loving flying the jet. I saw it climbed in and flew all over. Of course then I got bored and crashed it into a freeway just for fun. I love how you can just about drive or fly anything in the game.
And if you mix the wrong buttons by mistake, like miss pressing a key due to your finger slipping or something, it can be the end of the aircraft.
Definitely, and the frustrating part about it is when you are using it for timed missions and can't afford to make a mistake, which often just pressures you more into making one.
Yeah, that's for sure. The timed missions are sometimes very strict in my opinion. One mistake and you risk to be out. That means you are kept under pressure during the whole mission and that makes it a lot harder.
Yes! I I can't tell you how many times I screwed up the missions when I was only starting to get used to the aircrafts but after I've grown used to it more I operated it like a pro and was able to complete most of the missions already.
Its one among many of the features that made me so interested in the game. GTA is a game with a lot to offer, and flying just made it more than interesting. They have everything from biplanes to jets and even a hot air balloon, and the things you do with it, just awesome.
Yes, I love the aircrafts! I couldn't wait until the game came up, I was sure they'll do something really cool about it, which they did! Having airplanes provides a really different aspect who wasn't such a big deal until GTA5. It makes the game much more interesting in my opinion.
Yes, the planes, jets, and helicopters are fun to drive, especially since you get to see Los Santos from a great view in the skies. They also seem a bit easier to acquire in GTA5 than in the other GTAs. Well, maybe not the jets...
I think the aircraft's control mechanics are a bit too unrealistic. The flight should be somewhat more realistic, not too realistic to be like a flight simulator, but it is really too unrealistic, at least for my tastes. Other than that, I think the aircraft are great in GTA V.
I have a hard time with the flying in the game I do better with helicopters than airplanes, but still prefer to stay on the ground when I'm driving.
The jets, helicopters, and planes are really cool. I like to use these aircrafts from time to time, just for my own mayhem. Although, I don't always come out of the military center alive, when I try to go for a jet. Sometimes, I'm killed just by the military officers. Sometimes, I'm killed in midair by a rocket that shot my jet. I like how there's more things to fly and they're easier to get to.
I love aircrafts in GTA V, the Buzzard is by far my favorite one though. They are easily available in most places where there is a helipad and they're very fun to use when messing with people. Just today I grabbed a Buzzard in GTA Online and roamed the city looking for people to shoot missiles at. I rarely kill people with it though, I just like starting chases, especially when they're trying to deliver a vehicle for Simeon. You have to get it there in mint condition, so I just scare people into going faster and getting there sooner. I see it as a small favor, but they usually want to pay me with bullets to the face, no idea why.
Oh, I had already posted on this topic? My bad for kind of repeating what I said before. Still, it seriously seems like it's easier to get aircrafts now. In GTA4, the only one they had was the helicopters, right?
