Luigi! I don't really care much about the stats or the characters abilities when I first played this game. So I just always use my most favorite character. Although Luigi is still my favorite character today, I might use a different character if I play this game again. I would probably use Yoshi in battle modes, because I prefer lightweight characters in battle modes.
Whenever I used to play Mario Kart I would always choose yoshi. He is cute, lovable and he would have a nice balance of acceleration and speed in my opinion. Always loved to hear him cheer happily!
I personally liked and really enjoyed playing with Yoshi, his voice and the general animations where just funny as heck, I wish I could still use my 64 I would definitely play MArio KArt 64 the whole day.
I like Luigi so I use him frequently in these games. I usually use almost everyone though so I could experience using them all but I favor Luigi a lot just because of his death stare lol.
