I played GTA III before Vice city, but still most of my childhood memories are associated with Vice City. There was something about that game I really liked. I liked Tony's blue shirt and the sunny city. I played it back when I lived in my summer house. In times when it would rain all the time, I would sit in my couch and play it until night. Those were the days! And I remember playing it with my friends too. There is just something about this game that no other GTA so far has achieved.

There used to a ramp right near the casino in Vice City. Ever since, I saw this I made it a habit it jump the same every time I cross the area. The game world is simply engaging and had a mafia Godfather touch to it which was never found in other GTA games including the new GTA V. So, all I can do is wait for GTA 6 and keep my fingers crossed.

My best memories with Vice City is using a chainsaw to cut through random pedestrians until the police finally finish me. Oh, what wonderful memories :D.

Where was the casino again? Anyway my memories included the dirt bike stadium and also those fields near the beach that were fun to drive around aimlessly. Vice City had some pretty neat stunt ramps too.

Playing that mission where you had to intimidate the judges for the first time. The idea of generally picking up any car or weapon you see seemed pretty cool to me at the time. Little did I know how awesome it was going to get as the game moved on.

I haven't played the game in a while, but whenever I think about doing so I always think about driving around in either the Cheetah or the Comet and cycling through the radio stations. There was just something about the game that I could never find in any of the others.

I have finished this game along with GTA 3, and I was in my early 20's that time since that was the time I got addicted playing video games. I will always remember this game fondly because it was the first GTA game that I played, and I've been hooked ever since.

The first memory is waiting for it to get ported to PC.. :x Otherwise, it was all around a nice time in my life, so pretty much anything associated with VC is a good memory for me. :)

probably the mission where you kill all these enemies from the chopper that lance is driving, then you run in and kill everyone and pick up the package, the whole atmosphere of the game was the reason why its still one of my favorite games of all time!

Mine was riding a motorcycle and listening to Michael Jackson's song. Cruising around the city in one of those Harley's while listening to the radio was very relaxing. Feels like taking a real road trip.

I used to play GTA 3 and Vice City all the time with my little brother. We never actually played through the story, but we spent hours causing as much chaos and damage as possible. Usually we'd type in a few cheat codes for weapons and then go to the top of a parking ramp and start firing at pedestrians and cars on the street below.

There's not much to choose between GTA III, VC and SA but what edges VC for me is the soundtrack. Listening to 80s music on the radio while driving on the way to a mission are my best memories from Vice City. Anytime I hear a song from VC's soundtrack on the radio in real life, all this nostalgia kicks in.

It was my first GTA game. That alone makes it very special for me:p
Also it's my first time playing a wide open sandbox game. Till this time it's still my favourite gaming-genre.

Hearing the soundtrack for the first time is my best memory of the game. I love the music and it really helped set the tone of the game.

I just find it awesome that the developers put in time to create in-game radio stations for vehicles, just like a real car. That's was one of the moment that I went,"Man that's a lot of details!". And they are actually pretty nice and neat to listen to! All those classic songs from 80s......in one game!

Driving a car near to a girl in night. Going back and forth. Brake. Horn. Girl gets in. Drive to a secluded area. :D

Driving around and killing people and hookers of course. Isn't that everybody's favourite Vice City memory?

The first real thing I remember about any GTA game is the music. There has always been something about the music that has solidified the gaming experience for me. I really do find it a bit of a let down that the latest edition. There was no real classics from the time period. I feel like it's missing that Tom Petty song or Billy Idol Ballad.
