What do you guys feel about project cars? I just picked it up from steam yesterday and felt like it was one of the best ‘Racing Simulators’ that I had ever played on pc. The controls are brutal and unforgiving just as they should be, the graphics are realistic, cars handle realistically, and the best thing about the game for the engineer in me is the telemetry which this game provides is just so sweet. What are your thoughts?
I really love Project CARS and although I bought it on console (Xbone) I don't regret the decision one bit. The graphics are stunning, the lighting is awesome and the racing is just brilliant. I also love the longer endurance races they have in some events.
I own the Pc version and that is excellent as well, and I really love what they have done with the career mode, it’s so realistic and it has modes just as you would have to follow in real life. Starting from karts going write up to Formula 3
Project cars is one of the best racing games. Some arcade racers who try it say it is "unforgiving." But what would you expect from a sim racer? What I love most? Hardcore mode. Challenging as hell.
A good simulator should me unforgiving, since driving a race car in real life is unforgiving, and why do we play a simulation, to get the most realism. That is why I like Project Cars. Good graphics, nice collection of cars and really brutal realism.
I would rate it very high. I'm not that big of a fan of realistic racing games but this one is still fun for me. I still wouldn't favor it over one of my other favorites but for a genre that's secondary in my radar I felt they did a pretty good job.
I am amazed by your decision. Why would you not rate it high? I don't think this game lacked any feature.
Project Cars is one of my favorite games even though I haven't got the chance to play it too much, the realism is what captivated me from the moment I watched the trailer. I love simulator games more than arcade ones.
