Am I the only one around here that picks a car that seems cool in every game and stick with it? Even if the vehicle isn't suitable for the track I still give it a go and try to win!
It really depends on the game you are playing. Some games are simulation type and will be able to customize ever aspect of the car. Sure most games have unlockable and arcade style of cars to race. But in competitive racing with friends or time trial tracks, I would normally go with the cars with the best handling. Not necessarily the best looking or fastest. I always emphasize more towards course accuracy as skidding out of control or bumping will lead to seconds and a potential lost in position.
I tend to pick ones that handle best but I do have some favorite types of designs that I gravitate towards. If my favorite brand is in the choices then I'd almost always go for those. J
I was like this in Gran Turismo 1. I picked the Mazda Lantis and used it for as many of the races as I could. Some good memories there
I'll always choose the fastest car that's got great handling when playing against human opponents. However when playing alone, I'll choose the fastest car. That usually gives me an advantage because when I'm #1, I'll make it very hard for the cars behind me to get past.
You need as much help as you can when playing against a cup because I think they program it in a way that it will always be close no matter how far ahead you should be.
With the past few Forza games I've kinda stuck with using Fords. I just think they have some pretty nice cars. I use the Escort MK4 a lot because that holds a lot of memories from when I was a kid.
I like car racing game and racing cars have been a problem that I am interested in your games. (nhac chuong khong loi)
I like ford escort too because it's very easy to handle. If I'm not mistaken, it's usually one of the first few car choices in most racing games and I usually pick that to level up and reach higher tier cars.
The Escort you can buy a bit later on but a lot of games these days are giving you a choice or more modern cars as a starter car, which is a shame to be honest because there are a lot of decade and older cars that could be a good starter.
I always try to use cars that I like in real life in any game I play. The Mazda RX-7, Corvette and the Koenigsegg Agera are the three cars I aways look out for in racing games.
I too do the same thing but with the past few games I've tried to use the car that I own. Tuning it up, customising it and wining races with it is more satisfying then I thought it would be.
Yeah, that's definitely the way I would go if I had a car right now. I'm planning on getting the Mazda RX-8 sometime in the future, but that one isn't as prominent in racing games as the RX-7.
The RX-8 is still a nice car none-the-less. Not sure how I feel about the doors at the back that open the opposite way though, but that's just me. I've kinda fancied getting something like a Vauxhall Nova and doing it up which would be nice but unfortunately I cannot replicate this dream in, well, any racing game because it's not in them.
That's funny, because the back doors are one of the things I like about it. They're pretty much hidden and they can come in handy if you need to give a few people a ride. I had never heard of the Vauxhall Nova to be honest. It looks really nice. I can understand why it's not included in racing games though.
Yeah the Nova is a sort of run of the mill car that doesn't have anything to make it stand out. It's popular with tuners and rally cross people thought...also boy racers who give the car a bad name unfortunately.
Ah, I see, I don't know anything about the rally scene. That's probably why I hadn't heard about it before. It sucks about the boy racers though, sadly there's always a group of people that give good things a bad rep.
Yeah it's not that good that it's been involved with boy racers but what will be will be... Another thing going heavily against it is that there is nothing making it stand out. I mean it's rival for instance, the Ford Fiesta, has a sport version of it that gets it included in games but there is nothing about the Nova for it's inclusion. Ahh well.
The looks and the hoods of the cars don't control me. I pick up the cars with the best speed, acceleration, handling and then I customize the cars. By this way, I create amazing cars in any game with the perfect combination of performance as well as looks.
You're right. With games today you can customize them completely so it's okay not to get to use your favorite cars from time to time since you could just use any other car and customize it in a way that you will like it.
