Hey guys, so what's the greatest racing game you've played, in terms of graphics and special effects? (Not necessarily played, even seen or viewed on YouTube will do). Can you please share? You can also share the most demanding racing games that punished your system and made it lag!
Driveclub is possibly the prettiest racing game I've played. The racing mechanics aren't the best in my opinion and they could do with some improvement, but the graphics are just beautiful.
I enjoyed watching and playing Drive club as well spectre! That was such an amazing game to play as its graphics were amazing!
It's pretty embarrassing that I've never heard of that game before (I guess because I stopped gaming for quite a while now). So I did a search on YouTube and got a quick look. Yeah, it was indeed beautiful. I guess I have to play newer games now huh. The graphics engine drastically improved.
Probably Drive Club, they have amazing views through the game, also the visual effects are outstanding.
The seaside track in Grand Turismo 4 is one of the most beatufiul tracks I've seen in a video game. I can't remember the name of the track. I do remember El Capitan is also a beautiful track in GT 4. All the GT games have tremendous scenic tracks.
So far my vote has to go with drive club, which is why I'm surprised that the developers funding was cut but at least they were immediately picked up again and are no back in business. I don't focus that much on graphics especially in racing games but I have to admit that this game is beautiful.
I'm gonna go out and say Midnight Club: Los Angeles. Granted, I haven't played in about a year now but I'll never forget driving away from the cops at sunset and looking in my rear-view mirror and seeing beautiful LA in the sunset with 20-30 cops chasing behind me in first person mode. It was also the easiest game to handle in first-person mode as well.
Most beautiful has to be Gran Turismo hands down, they just do a great job replicating the car details as well as the environment so I'm always pleased with the eye-candy they provide.
I was impressed by the graphics of the game. All the elements of this game is really wonderful. You must check out the trailer and I bet you will be impressed. I would definitely recommend this game to everyone.
I would probably say Project Cars for Pc. Since I have always been a pc gamer, I have never had the privilege of playing Gran Turismo and Forza. So the realistic graphics were a welcome site for a racing simulator for pc.
If we're talking about looks, then on the console it would have to be Driveclub for me. While in the past I have said it's a racing game to avoid, and even though it's got slightly better, it's still not my favourite, when it comes to graphics I think it is the best racing game on the market. Maybe that's the problem with the actual game itself? They spent that long making it look good, they didn't have the time to actually make it a decent game!
