Microsoft announced plans to host a special Forza Motorspot event at E3.

Back in March they said, they'd be revealing the next Forza game. Could it mean that we will be getting a release date for Forza horizon in June?

It's highly likely we will be getting a release date for it in June. If they didn't plan to do it, then they will do now due to GT Sport being unveiled.

I might be being a little too optimistic but this all seems a little big for just a new Horizon showing. Maybe they have got something bigger up their sleeves?

Since Forza 7 [rumors have it] will be released next year around November I suppose we can make the assumption that even though the game may be unveiled this year as fans would expect something more . . . Forza Horizon might be what they get this year.

If I'm not mistaken the event has already past at the time I'm posting this but I haven't had time to check out what they announced. I am fairly hyped though and I can't wait to see what they did end up revealing.

Well the only thing of interest to racing game fans is the announcement of the date when Forza Horizon 3 will be released. The game comes out on September 27 and can be played on both the Xbox One and on PC.

That's an awesome news. It would be awesome to play the game in June but I don't think it will be released soon.

It's good to know that it can be played on both the platform. Personally, I like to play the games on my PC.

It appears that all games that will be released from the time Microsoft said they'd be unifying their gaming platforms will be playable on all devices running Windows 10. So from now on, you buy one game and can play it on all your device or initially at least on PC and Xbox One.

I heard that too and it's a pretty great feature, if I recall correctly they started doing this with Rocket League and people were pleasantly surprised by it, I imagine it's a good move.
