Well, have you finished it and kept playing for a bit after that?
I'd rate GTA V a good 8/10, it has a lot of nice quests/missions and a good storyline.
I have very few complaints about GTA V. I think the story kind of loses the thread a bit in the last third of the game. Other than that I really loved the game. It looked great on my Xbox 360, had awesome features, and the heists were really well done. All in all I would give it an 8/10.
I would say, aside from the occasional glitches (which occur in most massive online games) Its a fantastic game. A great addition to the series! I have played and love them all! They get better and better. 9/10 (Saving some room to rate the next one!)
Even though I think San Andreas was a more fun game for me and San Andreas was a 10 for me, I still give GTA V a 10. The size of the map, the graphics, and the ability to play as 3 characters just all makes the game so much fun to play and really hard to get tired of playing. I say that San Andreas was better because I enjoyed the storyline more but the online play and the incredible graphics in GTA V pretty much makes it a perfect game as well.
After playing for a little longer, I am rating it 8/10 now because of the multiplayer.
Upon first release It would be 7/10 but with Multiplayer and bug fixes I'd say its more 8-9/10 but where is next gen?!
I'm going to get a lot of hate for this but..... 8/10. It seems like everyone on this forum thinks the game is perfect, I disagree. I personally think the campaign is too long and the story is weak. The setting and characters are the highlight of the game for me. The visuals are stunning but that's not what makes a game good (its certainly a plus though).
I don't completely agree with you. The visuals are decent, but they don't even compare to Watch Dogs.
I think it is a great game with a rating of around 8 out of 10. I would like to see more humour like in the previous games.
I love this game the more I play it the more I find things that make me like it even more. I would have to say it is the best out of all the GTA games because they've really thought of everything with this game from the big details to the smallest. So definitely give it a 10/10.
The only thing negative about GTA 5 I would say is that the arrow mark for shooting is way too small, its difficult to see if your actually shooting at the enemy. Apart from that, it is an amazing game. The graphics are great and the story mode graphics are also great. The story is well thought out and the missions are not too hard to complete. I love the fact that you can change characters. All in all I rate this game 9 out of 10.
I rate GTA V 9 out of 10. I like the story mode, but the online mode needs more working.
That's a 9 over 10 from me.
I've been playing GTA from the first game in the series and I've seen it evolve into one of -if not the best- gaming franchise in the world.
I didn't vote it a 10 because I had expected more missions. The open world stuff and online options are good, but I want more campaign missions.
I think Rockstar might publish some extra mission packs in the future...
I'd say based on a 1 out of 10 rating. 10 being the best, I'd give gta v an 8. I think they have definitely improved the game, and its so much better than the last one.
I see everyone giving 8 and above, But as a player to almost all of the GTA (all games but GTA 1) I have to be devils advocate here. I have to admit, i wasn't too happy with this one. I loved GTA San Andreas. I think that game had it all. When it comes to building a character from nothing to making him into the billionaire. Having the ability to control every aspect of his life, how he eats, sleeps, who he sleeps with, his leisure time, HIS BODY TIME FOR GOODNESS SAKES! I play the game now and I see the graphics suck and the gun system isn't as extensive, but If that game was put out today with today's technology, it would definitely be the top game. It had playable casinos, You could burglarize homes. Like, that depth of the game was extreme. Buying properties. It had it all. I was pretty much the innovator of the dress my character they way i want him to dress mentality. Nobody was dressing up Claude, lol, The "charismatic, lively character he was" , ha ha. You could dress Tommy but the way they wanted him.
Anyway, for my rating for GTA5, after my could be endless rant, I rate the game a 7.9/10 , because the addition of the online feature, that my husband is so dearly addicted too. The gun system is sick! The graphics are off the hook. The storylines sucked. This girlfriend Franklin sweated the whole time made but 2 times! They had to actually resort to hookers and strippers for some lovin' (which is unrealistic). He had no missions with her, like his storyline was so weak., he had to do missions with crackheads! Instead of adding three worthless storylines, have 2 in-depth ones, or 1 really great storyline and game play such as C.J's. I like the addition of the special abilities, but even they were a bit lack luster. I think i expected to much. 7.9/10.
Like almost everyone, I give it an 8/10 too. The missions in story mode are very fun to play, they involve a lot of game mechanics which is good, the characters are well written, they keep consistent throughout the story. Michael's rich life and broken family really made me feel sorry for him, like when his wife cheated on him with that tennis coach. The gameplay is the best part of this game, like any GTA game you have the freedom to do whatever you want and this game has A LOT of options to do anything. The graphics are beautiful, specially when you are on the beach, Rockstar did a really good job with the lightning in this game. This is just another great game from Rockstar, I will play it for a long time like I have done with other GTA games.
The game itself was way too overhyped. The trailers and delays really made me think it was going to be one of the best games of all time, which it wasn't. Other than that, fantastic game and amazing story.
I agree, They made it seem like it was going to be a legitimate 10 hands down, and like I said before, it was a fairly good game with a lot of depth. I just think that there could have been much more. That's another list for another thread. I might just make one for that.
This GTA is amazing for me.I love the story. The swapping character ability was a great choice and make the game 100% better. Haven't played alot of the online but have found it really funny when playing it. I'm going to get GTA on PC as well to see how the mods for the game could improve it and make the game last even longer!
