First thing I did was build muscle to max Haircut was usually cornrow, wore white tank top and jeans. Simple.
I usually like having my characters muscular and lean, but that just wasn't possible with CJ. If I got him very muscular he was extremely buff, and if I tried to make him leaner he got too thin. In the end I just kept CJ at full muscle for the health improvements.
My CJ always looked the same every time played. I'd give him a cornrow haircut, tattoos all over, a green bandana on his face, green track pants, a white tank top, and athletic shoes. He also wore dog tags. So gangsta haha.
I don't really do that much customization in terms of GTA characters because they're already premade. I mean sure you can change clothes but it feels rather lacking and boring because you didn't really created that character. But my CJ is just plain old CJ. Except for that mission where you should get some colors to 'represent' I think I would've chosen the default look in the entire game.
I dressed him as "pimp" as possible to fit the storyline of the game. Giving him a suit or something classy would've just ruined the feeling, IMO.
My CJ was pretty much what he was like during the starting except that I made him wear a shirt instead of just a plain vest and a few minor modifications. Everything was pretty much default. I wasn't interested in customizing him. He looked fine enough to play. But, I've considerably modified characters in other games, like Sleeping Dogs, for example. I tend to keep them as close as their default version, though.
I tried to make him look as stupid or hilarious as possible. I had great fun trying to to choose the most retard looking haircut with clothing set.
I tried to make mine as formal as possible, but when I came to enjoying the story, I tried using the colors that was intended: green. Basically, I tried to make him look as "gangsta" as possible: the formal one, not the street "gangsta" types. In the end though, when I got to modding some things in the game, I just tend to use my favorite character's models. Take a look at my avatar: that's what my freaking "CJ" looks like, hahaha! In cinematic events that the game does not use the real CJ model for, say, lip sync moments, that model is used instead. It creates some crazy interactions, hahaha!
Like a pimp! Well, not really. But I made sure to push CJ to workout to the max and reach his genetic potential. I got him shorts, made him go around shirtless and he had that gangster haircut, which I can't really describe, because I'm unsure how it's called. People on the streets didn't seem to mind the odd look I gave him, although Ryder had some nasty comments after the first haircut I got CJ in that one particular mission I forgot the name of.
I remember being tanked! Can't remember the haircut but I used to rock black jeans, a vest and some tattoos
It looked fancy enough to say the least, haha. I remember that I used to bring him to the gym and make him workout till exhaustion, then go to the store and buy some clothes that would raise sex appeal, haha.
My CJ spent a lot of time in the gym, and had a few tattoos, I thought that suited the character personally. When it came to eating I always went for the healthy option anyway, it was the most expensive at the pizza place but it did help to keep the weight off.
My CJ was fairly skinny, but with a bit of muscle put on (I couldn't get more, I sucked at the mashing mini-games). He always wore a jacket and some jeans, and he had a killer afro to top all that off.
I always made CJ look as nice as possible since his character model wasn't doing him any favors. He didn't have too much muscles but I had him switch up hairstyles for each mission to give him a different look. I should go back and just have him run through the game looking like a complete wreck just for fun.
My CJ was always a muscular fellow, but his general look always changed. Sometimes, I liked to play the game as a brawler CJ. I would give him tattoos and wear sports clothing. As this CJ, my main focus was on going from gym to gym to learn the different fighting styles and of course working out constantly. Another CJ I liked was a professional look. I would get rid of any tattoos and outfit him in suits -- basically business attire. I have thought about doing a stocky CJ (not fat, but not skinny or muscular) but I found that my gameplay habits couldn't keep the look. I tend to bike around to increase my stamina and run around the city, usually looking for someone to beat down. However, my CJ was fit and muscular the majority of the time.
I always used to make him wear full green, bandanas, sweaters, pants, shoes, collars, hats, absolutly EVERYTHING had to be green in order for me to be happy with CJ, I really loved dressing CJ like every single day, old times.
At some point in the game, you'll just gain all the muscle from running everywhere in missions. So I couldn't keep my CJ fat! The clothes had sex appeal & respect values preassigned to them, so you can mathematically figure out the "best" outfit. However, I kept it Grove Street and wore the Green Tag T with Olive khakis. Add some nice shoes and maybe the black glasses (from the expensive stores!!) and everyone will be giving you compliments!
My CJ always looked buffed (buffmeup ) without a shirt on and with lots of tattoos. I also kept an Italian hairstyle, and some jeans on.
Tuxedo with matching shoes from that store that only opens after you finish your missions in Las Venturas, Didier Sachs (?). It had really expensive stuff for sale, but they looked really good too. The clothes represented how far CJ has come from just spray painting walls into being a part-owner of a casino in Las Venturas.
