The zero mission with that god awful miniature plane which was impossible to control almost. Or the mission chasing OG loc's prison lover through those narrow passage ways for like an hour all over the city.
All missions are easy for me now, but some I still have to do more than one attempt to pass through it, most of the time because of some moron who drives into me and I end up with a car upside down or when I get into any other stupid accident.
Definately The Rc plane mission where you have to destroy cars. The controls are a pain in the ass and its hard to get all the cars in the small period of time. I have no idea how i got the mission when i was younger
The hardest one for me was when you went to this big building that I think was a hotel with Big Smoke and you had to start shooting everyone in there. After that, you got into a car with Big Smoke as the driver and you as the shooter. It was pretty tricky since it's very hard to aim in San Andreas because the sensitivity gets either too high or too low.
The RC missions. They are danged hard on no matter what version you are playing but especially hard on PC.
The RC plane in San Fierro. That one pissed me off constantly. Doing it on a controller didn't make it easier either. I almost broke my PS2 over it that's how frustrating it was.
The one I had to spend the most time trying to beat was the one where you're on a bike and you're chasing the guys on the train.
The RC plane mission is the hardest mission for me. I kept on trying for like 4 times to finally finish it. The controls were very bad for the plane.
There were a few more difficult missions in SA that made the game that much more interesting, no less of which were the RC missions from Zero. Never liked them ever since Vice City but they were an interesting challenge and it was something else. Some of first missions in SA, at least until you get the hang of the game, can also be a little frustrating. One of the first missions where you have to follow the train with those rival gang members. Curiously enough, First time I played the game I got it right, but when I replayed it recently it took me a hundred times to make it
If it had been your situation for me, too, I would have been so grateful to God. I needed 4 days to complete it, with 1 hour spent each day, without any break. I really thought back then that it had some kind of ridiculous flaw that made the last aztec invincible, but I looked on Youtube and, in fact, the others managed to get past it on the first attempt! I was desperate for a solution, so I just spawned a jetpack, continuously shot them ( it took me a while), then dropped Big Smoke home. Not even the last mission was as painful and tedious as this one...
"Hardest" mission for me.. is the one where you have to drive a jeep within a time limit through a screwed up mountain road. Not that hard, but on my pc that I played san andreas initially on, it was so bad the FPS in the game was always 10 or lower, and I never managed to finish the mission, until I entered the cheat to slow time about literally 50 times and somehow beat it in the end. The memory of that mission will haunt me forever.
Local Liquor Store - I had to look it up, but it was the hardest mission for me alongside that one racing mission with Woozie (alongside the cameo appearance with Woozie) due to a ramp (or several) that kept derailing me and thus ending the mission because they would speed away. It took me a few more times, but other than that it was actually not that bad I guess.
The hardest mission for me was the one where you had to use a plane to intercept the jet that was coming to Las Venturas. It was the one with Salvatore Leone who needed CJ to help rid of some assassins.
"All you had to do was follow the damn train CJ" I swear Big Smoke haunted my nightmares for weeks until I got past that godforsaken mission.
Holy crap that is really the biggest pain in the ass. I remember my play through the other day and I was stuck at that part for awhile. Really sucks.
Oh my god, that was the worst by far. Others were hard too, but this one was just disgusting, not only because it was fucking hard and a took considerable long time, but because of this smug sentence at the end. I almost smashed my controller at his face after I failed for like the 20th time.
Mine would be the mission that you are chasing the train with a mototrcycle and also the rc plane. I hate that mission, I played that for hours and it makes me cry.
Yes, I agree very much. Some may say that there were much harder missions, but I don't think I have ever experienced such frustration in any GTA mission than that one. Big Smoke's closing line always made me want to punch him, but alas, he disappears when you fail the mission. When I finally passed it, I had a field day, I was so ecstatic.
I've had a lot of trouble with the flying school. Took me a whole day to get past that one. I've also had trouble with the one mission where you have to stay on low altitude with your plane so you don't get spotted by a radar. Kept hitting the trees on the way.
