I've for a while been hunting for free Sim games but haven't found any so far. One could buy an old used copy of games like GT on Amazon but I don't want to spend any money on "new" games right now. Do any of you know any free Sim racing games or have been unable to find them because there aren't any that are free?
I think it's difficult to find a free sim game for now. Probably your best bet is to find some of the older versions that are going for discounted or bargain bin prices.
I wonder though if the old games physics engines will be realistic. Saw some not so good reviews of a few old sim racing games [which the reviewers dismissed as "garbage"] and I don't know . . . maybe people had unrealistic expectations back then.
I'm not a 100% sure on when the release date is, but Forza 6 is coming to PC as a free to play game. The details are still hazy and unconfirmed, but I'm sure at E3 we'll get a lot more information. As someone who doesn't actually own a PC powerful enough to play it, I'd really like it if they also released this version on the Xbox, but at the very least it coming out on PC is something. Should appeal a bit to the PC crowd.
The Beta version is out. According to those who downloaded it, it has some bugs. It might take while for the developers to fix the bugs but who can complain? The game is free after all and that's why it was released — to be tested.
Well, there is a game on the mobile app called “Gran Turismo.” The app is like the console game Gran Turismo. It takes awhile for the app to download. But, the game is free and it looks really good. I also suggest playing the Need For Speed game on the mobile app. I can’t remember the exact name but you should be able to find it on Google play app.
Ooh interesting, I had no idea. Tbh I do trust Turn 10, but do you know if it's being completely developed by them? Sometimes devs use other companies to make side games like this. Either way, its still pretty cool that they're releasing a game with the same engine and graphics for free, even if it has less content.
Yeah. It's Turn 10 Studios that is making the game for Windows. Though it's a slimmed down version of Forza Motorsport I think it's supposed to give PC gamers a "feel" of the game so they can buy the game when Microsoft unifies all their gaming platforms.
Definitely recommend Forza if you can get your hands on it, I played it on Xbox and if you're into simulator racing games then this one is for you. It should run flawlessly on PC after they fix some bugs.
Forza finally comes to Pc! Forza Motorsport 6 is a new Free to Play game released on the Microsoft store. Its graphics are stunning and since it is free, it won’t hurt to download it to try. Although I haven’t tried it yet but I am excited to try it on my PC since this will be my first Forza game (I have always been a Pc gamer). It’s in Beta now so it may be buggy, let wait and see how it turns out to be.
I'm interested in trying out the Forza Apex. I've never actually tried out a Forza game so I don't have much to compare the free version to. Free Sim Games: 1. Simraceway 2. RaceRoom - fun to play imo
