Well, it's only normal that playing a game becomes repetitive at times. Though I agree to take a break with other games and come back. Perhaps it will be more refreshing then.

Yes, and I think all games can get boring. I tend to switch off enough so I don't really get bored too often.

Yes! I get pretty bored with GT but that's what other games are for.

I sometimes find myself getting tired just, doing same circuits or levels and can just start to get boring. In the beginning it will feel real great to drive around and explore the circuits in the game, than start to not be as interesting as before. Pushing the button real quick sometimes, and frustration sometimes makes me not play the game for a few days as it too much effort when I am tired of the game. The game can be interesting in some parts and in some areas just not exciting enough to continue to play the game anymore.

I'd say anyone would get bored if you play the same game for too long. The key to fixing this is to mix up playing this game with other games. There's not really much variety in the Gran Turismo games which is why people tend to get bored sooner but it's actually doing quite a good job at what it's trying to do. As soon as you feel bored you should just pick up another game and come back to GT when you're getting bored of the other game.

Of course, I don't think there's any game that I would play every day without any pauses between. I have some favorite games and I play them from time to time, sometimes even once every few years to refresh my memories. Now that I think of it, I play some games for quite a long periods at a time.

Like most have said, it can get pretty boring after while and more so if you know what to expect. That's why I find it useful to just switch around different types of games or genres to cool off and avoid the game boring me and getting repetitive. Sometimes it takes me awhile to get through the burnout of whatever game I played most, but playing other things does certainly help in the long run.

I never really found this game that exciting but admittedly at least the earliest versions were one of the first of its kind to really make 3d racing standards, but now that the standards have been set and surpassed they just can't seem to add much more anymore without totally changing the identity of the game.

Yeah I do get bored after a while. Typically I just switch to some other game, probably a different genre altogether.

If I'm being honest the answer is yes I did get very bored of GT. For me, the series has gotten stale, it needs focus and needs to be more fun/challenging.

In general, I can only play racing games for maybe an hour unless its something like GTA V. After a while, any racing game gets kinda repetitive and I do get bored.

Honestly I agree and I will tell you that the game is really beautiful and I really think that they did a really good job on the graphics, but I think that this is the reason that I cannot really play racing games anymore. Like you said they tend to get really repetitive really quickly and then I am someone who gets bored really quickly.

It's getting repetitive and redundant. Yes, it is graphicly superior to previous incarnations. Yes, it has more options. Yes, you can get better upgrades. But take that all away, it's still the same game, but now with the bells and whistles. Why don't they throw in some rally cars and ice tracks, that should be interesting and revitalize the series. Call it Grand Tourismo Rally.

Yes, though I enjoy it I still get bored of playing the game after about 10 to 15 rounds. Its more fun when I'm playing against someone.

Some others have said this and I agree. When I get board with a game I generally switch to something completely different. Bored with racing, bring on the NFL or something along those lines. That's what works for me.

For me, it just feels like racing games like these are an on/off thing. You get in the mood to play it, then take a break and come back when you're in the mood again. But you're essentially racing on the same tracks over and over. Too much of anything can get boring.

Thats really kind of the same thing with me on any game. I change things up every once in a while when games get boring. I generally lean towards pulling out something like an old Tiger Woods game, MLB, or James Bond etc.

Due to their nature of being repetitive, it's only natural that you'll get bored at some point. I think the trick lies in trying something different after a while to avoid becoming monotonous.

Like you said, it is a very pretty game but it can get boring. Pretty graphics can only get you so far, after a while the glamour wears off and you are left with boring game play. I enjoy this game and can play for hours, but most days I only last 20 minutes before getting tired of the stale game play.

I do get bored after playing for a while, but I always come back to the game eventually. The thing about Gran Turismo is that the simulation style can sometimes feel more like a chore than an actual game. So once I cross that thin line between having fun and just going through the motions I stop playing and give the game a rest for a while. Once I come back I'm excited to play and I have a blast.
