Have you finished the entire GTA San Andreas game without cheats or did you have to use cheats to beat the game?
I had to use cheats. I should really try it without them, but I would probably get frustrated and it would take me forever. Have you done it?
I didn't use cheats to beat the game. I used them afterwards once I finished though, just to mess around a bit.
When I was younger I used to cheat from time to time, but nowadays I avoid it like pest in a normal playthrough. It just destroys most of the fun and challenge you can get out of the game, honestly. You can use it though, for some fun rampage that does not take part in advancing the story though, like just go on a killing spree with an invincible tank or jump from rooftop to rooftop with you bike ;-).
I got through the main story without using any of the cheats. However some times I would load up a throw-away save and just goof around with the cheats because they were so much fun to play around with and it was the main draw of the game for me.
I beat the game first, then used the cheats after when I replayed the game for fun and relaxation. Never understood gamers who would beat any games with cheat codes. You didn't finish the game yourself. You cheated. That takes no skill what so ever.
I didn't use any cheats until I've completed the story. Since I'm done with the story, I spent all the time doing random things in the game. By then, I started using cheats to run amok and kill people for fun.
I have to admit that I used some cheats to repair and heal during some hard missions like long hard gun fights against others, or missions where your vehicle can't be damaged.
I had 2 save files. One where I used cheats just to have fun and cause chaos, and the other where I played through the game legit.
That's a good plan and I used to do the same as well when I decided to pass the game without cheats, though, that was after passing it with cheats. I had a lot more than two save files though.
When I'm bored, I cheap up the ass to make the game super fun. When I'm playing through the story I don't cheat..
I've never cheated to help me complete a game, I think that ruins the gaming experience. I only cheat for fun after I've finished everything.
No, I 've never cheated to complete the game. But, when I finished the game I cheated to have fun and makes the game more fun.
I tough it out and played without cheats. I was very tempted but I chose to not do that. I beat the game with high honors and dedication.
I did have to use cheats, but I used them sparingly. I wasn't constantly using them for every mission. There was a cheat I used that wasn't even related to my mission attempts and just for fun. I loved using the jetpack cheat and just flying around Los Santos.
I have played it through without using cheat codes twice. However, cheat codes are extremely useful when you want to mess up with polices or perform awesome stunts.
True. In San Andreas and GTA4, I've done some cool and funny things with cheats. You don't know how many times I've used the Jetpack cheat in San Andreas. It's just so much fun to fly around in Los Santos.
