I have just googled GTA V requirements in hope of actually finding some, but what I've found seems very unrealistic for me. Check it here: (http://www.game-debate.com/games/index.php?g_id=1308&game=Grand Theft Auto V). That seems ridiculously low. I mean, those are my specs, more or less.

My specs are: Core 2 Quad Q9400 @ 2.66 GHz
    ATI R9 270x
    4 GB RAM

I honestly don't think I'll be able to play GTA V with good FPS, but according to this site, I should be able to. What do you guys think, are the specs going to change a lot when the game releases, or are they staying pretty much the same. Also, what are your PC specs? Also you can enter your specs on the site and it will show you if you can run the game and how good your hardware scores.

Yeah, for me it's weird that a GTA game will be that optimized. I remember even on highest end pc GTA IV was laggy and still needed some patches. I hope that my pc will be able to run, as I really want to try the first person mode.

As far as Ram is concerned, I think the minimum requirement would be 4 GB of Ram considering all the current-gen upgrades they are pondering right now. What d yo guys think?

I think they are aware that the minimum specs are still standard as of now so I think they will strive as much as possible to adhere to it but I think with a game this rich it would be difficult. Probably something in the mid range would be much better suited.

I'm pretty sure those are minimum specs, you could run the game but expect framerate drops, stuttering and less than ideal graphics. You should look at the recommended specs for the game instead.

Those requirements seem really low. Almost all games that come out recently from big publishers require at least 6 GB of ram and some ridiculous graphic card that eats small children. Sadly, my GPU doesn't eat children (babies only), and I have only 4 GB of ram. I will honestly be surprised (positively) if the requirements stay like this, and I'm able to run and play the game with no FPS drops. I can't wait for it to come out, and I hope I can run it. What are your guys specs? R9 270x, 4 GB DDR and Q9400 here.

I have gtx 460, 8gigs of ram and I5-2310. It's 2 year old grampa, so I don't know if I'll be able to at least try GTA V...

I hope those are the specs. It seems a lot of companies are pulling specs out of thin air sometimes. Some companies have specs that are ridiculously high for games that aren't necessarily the top of the line in quality. Rockstar has always been good at doing the most with what's given. They pushed the limits of the PS2 with San Andreas. They pushed the limit of this generation of consoles as well. I don't think it'd be crazy to think those were top or maybe mid range requirements.

Im sure they will be reasonable and acomedating for the minimum requirements as for the recommended Im sure they will be quite special with at least 4-6 GB RAM 4.0 GHz+ CPU and major GPU Required.

I'm pretty sure that's more than enough to run the game.

Yeah, that is more than enough to run the game and play it with good FPS, based on current requirements. My specs are R9 270x, 4 gigs of ram and Q9400. It's a 5 year old machine, only new components are the r9 270x. I hope I'll be able to run and play the game at least on low, because I've been waiting for this game to come out since the first trailer came out a long time ago.

With the way that the game looks I can see why we would need such hardware to run the game. Listen the game looks good and if you want to be able to run it you have to have the hardware to do so.

I'm not too surprised at those requirements. It's such a rich game and anything lower would have been much more surprising to me. I think it's definitely worth an upgrade to anyone who is wanting to do it for the game because it's just so full and well made that it warrants it instead of just being due to the graphics which most other games rely on.

This is why I don't do PC gaming. I understand that a lot of people find it to be superior to console gaming but I can't afford to upgrade my computer every time a new games comes out. I'll just stick to console gaming. Most non-Nintendo consoles have a pretty long life span before the next one comes out.

All of that is good except for RAM. I only have 4 GB of ram, but everything else is a bit better than the minimum requirements, and my graphics card is better than the recommended one as well. Only problem for me is the amount of RAM that I have. I have to upgrade to at least 8 GB, and I have to start saving for it.

Since this is one of those next gen games ported to the PC with bad developers, there will definitely be stupid high Vram requirements that will be nonsensical, probably require a 970 or 980 to run it well.

Well, I have 2 GB of VRAM, as far as I know. When GTA IV came out, I only had 512 and I couldn't enable almost any of the graphic options. I hated that restriction, and I had to lift it. When I did lift it, the game objects and textures couldn't load properly. It was a weird game. Let's hope this one is better.

I wouldn't go as far to call Rockstar bad developers. They're sort of the kings of making gold out of crap. They push the limits with what ever they have.

You'll get a lot of use for it because the game is so full and you can play a lot more games after it anyway as soon many other games will also probably follow suit. Just sell your old one and add a bit more.
