I actually read somewhere recently that it was going to be a 90 minute drive from Coast to Coast. So no, it won't span the whole US, but it'll be pretty big anyways. Certainly bigger than anything that's been done before. Although I'm disappointed with the deceitful marketing, what could you expect from such big names?

I don't think in any game you will be able to drive up to your house. Maybe in a decade more or less you will be able too. It would take the developer's years to make a game that big. Even if they did make a game that big would you want to drive for 50 hours just to get from the east coast to the west coast IN A GAME.

I drove through a few cities I've been too and its hard to say how accurate they are, I haven't tried to go specifically to my area because I don't thinkt hey had it in the game yet but everything else was pretty accurate as far as I could see anyway.

No way. I was driving around and it's not every city in the U.S I'm pretty sure. But then again, I only went to St. Louis and Chicago so I'm not sure. But I do know that they didn't go to every neighborhood in the U.S to take pictures of everything. It's impossible.

Too bad I don't live in the US, I guess. However, if I did the first thing I would've done would've been racing to my house. It's stupid that we're doing this, even with Google StreetView. Think about it: we can go ANYWHERE in the world, but we go to our house just to see how it was captured.

The map is a very very scaled down rendition of the US. You'll see a few cities here and there and a number of landmarks but you won't be able to see your house!

How far do you think developers will go? It will take them years to build a game like that which is pretty impossible.

Yeah I think it would be great to see an exact copy but it would just take too long. Maybe in the future they can build on it further but for now just having some sort of accuracy would already be an achievement.

Well, since I don't even live remotely close to the United States, the answer is no. But, I will check out a lot of the landmarks in the cities, and definitely the Bonneville Salt Flats. That is one of the places that I'm going to go to first. I loved that episode in Top Gear, and I want to see how fast my car can go on the salt flats.

Why would anyone expect to see their own house in the game, even if their house is in the middle of one of the game's major cities?
