Slightly Mad Studios has released a new gameplay video for its upcoming free-to-play PC racing MMORPG, World of Speed, that shows two cars tearing through the streets of Moscow. The video features a one-on-one battle between the RUF RK Coupe and Mercedes SLS. You can really see how far World of Speed has come along in its development, and it’s nice to see a video that focuses on gameplay instead of glamour shots. You can sign up for the World of Speed beta here. The post World of Speed Races Through Moscow in New Video appeared first on Racing Game Central. Continue reading...
Thanks for sharing this, the graphics look pretty good for a free PC title that's been in development for quite a while. I will probably download it and look to go for a spin while waiting for The Crew to be released.
The vehicle designs and graphics look great, but the rest of the game is a slightly noticeable step down in my opinion. You can't argue with free, though.
The graphics look pretty good. Those are some pretty good lookin' cars, especially for a free game. Thanks for sharing this!
It looks nice and has a good sense of speed, but the handling is ridiculous. Guy is making those corners as if he was on rails.
It looks nice and I can't wait to play it. When I think about it, there are a bunch of racing games coming out this season and since need for speed didn't make a game this year they missed out. I don't blame them though because the next need for speed is going to be a smash hit. And by next year the competition will die down and the next NFS will rake in the dough.
I think without that the game would be too hard to play. In my opinion you can only have realistic driving physics up to a point.
The graphics look top notch. I'm sure the final release won't be too far off since they won't have to sacrifice much on PC. I'm really amazed at how far we've come in video games and I can't wait to see what's in store in the next few years.
With the beta coming by the end of this year, we should probably expect the game to go live by 2015, which is pretty awesome.
Yeah I can't wait. I'm starting to see the subtle difference in the graphics but I'm sure it will be even more noticeable in a few years when they start to really have fun with the new console. I just hope they are able to experiment a bit more and from the looks of these early games I am optimistic that they will be good.
I am looking forward to this game ever since it as been announced. While this may not be anything like Project Cars, I will still give it a chance.
Thank you for sharing! While the graphics aren't that good, they're definitely not bad either for a free title. As for the game itself, even though I have many racing games to play at the moment, I will still give it a try, because every game deserves its fair chance, especially the free ones.
