http://www.pcworld.com/article/2843...-first-person-view-4k-resolution-support.html Well given how long PC users have had to wait for the release, I'm happy to see some additional features, although I think first person view won't really change gameplay much. (Unless it's somehow compatible with Oculus Rift)
I'm not a huge fan of first person games in general, but I saw the trailer and I must say I'm impressed. It looks very well done and I think it lets you view the world of GTA in a different way. I've beaten the game twice on PS3 already, but this gives me a great excuse to beat it all over again.
The good thing is that you can freely switch between first and third person modes. As an FPS fan I would probably use it when I'm firing at people, but otherwise I would probably stick with third person.
I do not really like first person shooters unless I am playing a game like call of duty. I do not think that I would really enjoy a game like GTA 5 in the first person it would not be as fun honestly.
You should go watch the first person trailer youll see that it makes GTA look and feel like a completely different game. Heck it even makes it look like it was meant to be that way all along. Its also coming to the PS4 and Xbox 1 versions of the game not just PC. I cant wait to test it out and see for myself.
It's good to see that the PC version will get additional features, because we have been waiting far too long for the PC release, they had to do something special with this release. I enjoy playing FPS' a lot and the first person view will keep me entertained for a while, although I like the 3rd person view in GTA better. We'll see if this is something good or something bad, can't wait.
From the looks of what they have shown it look AMAZING they redid so much of the game to make it fit into a First person mode. Even different control scheme for quick weapon access.
To be fair, it's going to have first person mode for the PS4 and XB1 as well. I may be in the minority here. But this worries me. This will make GTA a lot more like the Fallout or Skyrim games if this gets popular.
I'm sorry I just went and took some time to watch the first person video and that looks like it would be great to play. I was looking at that in awe I mean the game looks so different from playing it in the third person. It actually looks cooler than I thought it would. Actually want to play it in the first person now.
If you had any reservations about the PC version of GTA V, they are going to support 4K resolution along with the mode. I am definitely going to get this game on PC. I have been waiting for it to arrive on PC for a long time.
I always love the first person view in games but gta took it to a whole different level. I have beaten the game on 360 and that was way long ago. I feel sorry for the pc players that had to wait for the game. But it will all be worth it because the mods will make up for it.
I really thought that it would not be any good but I will tell you that when I watched that video last night that I was really amazed at how cool the whole game looked. Manitoba looks seriously amazing.
I agree, I was kinda surprised that they even made all of the indicators and meter respond in real time, even in planes.I think GTA V will be the most popular gta game so far, mainly because of this new update.
Looks like it'll be fun to play in first-person, especially in those planes. There's no way my PC can run GTAV though... i'll have to get the PS4 version for that first-person experience.
Hype! I'll try playing through the whole game in this mode just to see how different that will make it from the other games.
I'm sure I'll use it once and a while for fun, but I won't play the entire game that way. Grand Theft Auto feels so weird in first person, like the GTA 4 mod showed to me. Don't get me wrong, the first person looks great and immersive, but I like first person in competitive games, and only a few Open world games can effectively pull it off.
I'm not a fan of first person view so I don't feel to worked up about the extra feature I'm not getting. I'm glad PC gamers will get something extra though. I know a lot of them like first person view and they have been waiting so long for this game to come to PC.
I suppose this is a good thing for people that enjoy first person games. I never really understood the appeal of them. It's great that Rockstar took the time to give people what they want but I feel like a large group of people won't even use this perspective.
I'm impressed. They have gone out of their way to improve this game for "next" (current) gen. Not many companies would do this.
