Yeah that is one of the things I did when I started playing, because at the time it was an accident and to be honest me and car games are weird. If I am being chased i will be all over the place, so yeah running over the people is one thing that happens when I play. Another thing would be that I just ruin the car I am in.
I never avoid running over a passenger. I think this is the best part of the game since you don't end up being killed. Not only do you get their money, but it makes your character looks like a bad ass (that's what he is). The tricky part is you should try your best not to get caught by the cops. For some reason, I always get away from the cops.
I like to do it sometimes because it helps to relive stress or something, especially after failing a mission that I'd worked on it very hard.
I like to pretend that I don't want to do that. But sometimes when I'm in a cop chase. I'll drift over to the left towards the sidewalk and make them watch as hundreds of people their "trying" to protect die right in front of them. And there's nothing..they can do about it.
HAHAHA the first thing everyone did in their first gta was run over as many people as possible! now its even better with a souped up murdered out super car!
Personally, I prefer crashing off the side of a cliff and landing on the roof of a house, or crashing full speed into another car and watching as we both go flying across the map. I'm not opposed to running down a civilian or two though, I won't try to avoid them, if they're in my way, they're getting run over.
Oh, well that is a notable exception. I really hadn't thought of that but yes, fair point and I agree.
That's how I feel as well. Whenever people say that things like "dark" video game or movie preferences indicate a lack of morals it's almost enough to make me laugh- suppose someone is just interested in pscyhology and why people do the things they do, or suppose that they just acknowledge that people DO have "darker" impulses too and that there are healthy and less healthy ways to deal with them. Sometimes good people have to think like criminals to catch them, does that make them morally deficient? It's just a silly argument.
I'm kind of weird about it. I will try and avoid hitting anyone at all costs but if I do I just go on a rampage and run over as many people as possible. I have managed to mow down quite a few crowds XD The ragdolls are just amazing.
I love the fact that they added the Mental State skill for this very same reason. All the mayhem that come from ramming people at over 100 Mph and watching them take off in an uncontrolled flight as the body's flail around. Almost as much fun as shooting peoples heads off like in Vice City.
Running people over is fun and very entertaining. Sometimes I put my tire on their hear or body and do a burnout. It seems so cruel but its is so fun. As I pull off I leave bloody tire marks and drive to some other pedestrians to do the same thing.
HAHA i love doing burnouts on dead citizens faces! as terrible as it sounds seeing their faces getting pulverized into a million pieces will never get old for me.
As cruel as it sounds, for some odd reason running them over or sending pedestrians flying turns into minutes of absolute hilarity and plenty of fun. So much that I forget all about the main mission and just take my time, doing pretty much that, running people over and laughing about it. It also doesn't help that they tend to look for it. Every time I drive a car around it turns into a pedestrian magnet. It's weird yet pretty damn funny.
Well, I must say that at first the idea of running over pedestrians proved disturbing, not that this has changed but, there are instances in which running over pedestrians is quite unavoidable. I strongly believe that the game should include the option to disable pedestrians as this would remove the gross factor.
Sometimes I will be honest when I have had a long day at work I just come home turn on GTA 5 and just run down the sidewalk just running over people. I really find it really soothing when I had a hard day.
It's not how news publications and politicians think of games, and how ignorant they are for thinking you get points for killing people, it's about having fun, and sometimes I have fun running over pedestrians in GTA. I obviously don't want to do that in real life. I also don't spend the entire time going in circles running people over. as ciorex said, sometimes you just can't avoid them.
Right, right. It's so fun running over the pedestrians because it gets your adrenaline going. Money wasn't a big part for me because I like doing missions for money but yeah.
*Sighs contently* Just something about release hell and havoc on a virtual world is smoothing...Could be because of the fact that if you do that in the real world, you'd go to jail for it. I always loved causing bodily harm those pixels. They can't feel anything, yet they make me feel all types of emotions when they have a story to go along with them.
I have 2 moods when driving in GTA V : avoid everything and everyone, stay on the road, drive safe or ... hit everything you can, kill as much people and drive everywhere! It just depends on what I'm doing, if I'm derping, I drive everywhere, though if I have a goal, I'm more careful.
