Have you played Five Nights At Freddy's? Its a horror game that is quite different. You play this guy who is a security guy at a pizza place, and there are these Animatronic Robots that come alive at night and all you have to do, is just close automatic doors to keep them away. The thing is you have very little power to keep the doors closed, and have to use them only when necessary. And to use them at the right time you have to shuttle between looking at camera footage and the open doors. I was pleasantly surprised by the gameplay and scared as hell. Its a fun game!
I played this game and it didn't scare me at all, I think that people who say that they never played a scarrier game just didn't play any scary games before. It's a good game to play, don't get be wrong, but it isn't as scary as some people make it to be.
I liked it, pretty freaking spooky. It's more about the fear of the jumpscare and how well done the timing is.
It's been since the original Amnesia game came out I had a good scare, this changed because of this game. Finally a game that's easy to understand, has a funny story, some jokes around and tons of jumpscares.
Five Nights at Freddy's is such a clever and simple game. It is pretty terrifying because you're under a time crunch and also hunted by murderous animatronics. No complaints here!
It's a pretty scary game while it's not the scariest the jumpscares will definitely mess you up. I could never finish the game though I think it's a bit too hard, for some reason I can never get past the second night.
It's the tension of having a lot of stuff to do while waiting for the inevitable jump scare that makes it soo good at being a scary game. The sequel only does it better.
If you have the lights off and use headphones while playing this game than you are in for a scare. It is just the idea of not knowing what is going to happen next and something jumps out at you. I don't play scary games often, because there are not a whole lot, but when I do I am looking for fright and something that makes me paranoid. Five Nights at Freddy's definitely satisfied me.

I've watched Markiplier play this game. It can be scary, but it's pretty fun too! A friend of mine let me try it out on his phone, but the experience doesn't feel the same as it does on the PC. Still, it's a pretty decent horror game.
I've tried the game but it doesn't appeal to me too much. My cousin loves it though and even though I can't completely understand why I wouldn't disagree that the game has some charm to it.

Yeah I'm not too fond of jump scares because I don't find it scary. I don't like it in movies either, but the game has enough atmosphere to make it alright.
