There are many radios available in the game, and a ton of different songs on each of them. It's easy to switch stations, but I find that I almost never switch them (unless I'm entering a new car). I usually listen to West Coast Classics, since I'm playing a game that requires me to be a gangster. WCC also makes me feel like a complete boss when I walk around machine-gunning people for money and XP rewards What radio do you listen to while shooting virtual people? What music motivates you to win the race? What songs do you like to cruise to?
The crazy thing is I never look at what radio I am listening to. I just make sure that it is either rock or rap. If I am rocking those two while playing then I am a killing machine.
I listen to Radio Mirror Park during races. Give Jasmine and From Nowhere a listen. They sound great! But I listen to rap music during the crimes part of it.
I like listening to talk radio in almost every GTA game because I love hearing news type broadcast in the background to add the atmosphere of feeling like a criminal. I honestly prefer the older versions though because those were more comical. These new ones seem a bit more realistic so a bit of the immersion and comedic values are lost. Either that or the voice actors just don't hold up as well.
I just like listen to the rap stations but I really do not do so much crime committing in the game. Most of the time I just like to race in the game.
I listen to Radio Mirror Park no matter what I'm doing. Primarily because my favourite song of the entire game is on the station. I'm pretty addicted to the end credits song (The Setup), and listen to it as often as I can, in fact, I'll pretty much stop whatever I'm doing on the game to listen to it. It helps that all of the other songs on the station are fun to listen to as well, But nothing will ever beat 'The Setup' for me.
I turn off my Radio if I'm on a mission. But if I'm on a race or killing people on the streets I always listen to Radio Mirror Park.
I usually listen to the talk show, it's just so fun listening to all the dumb stuff they come up with, even if it's the millionth time I have heard it. For all my getaway needs I always put on the pop radio though. There's nothing quite like getting away from someone to the beat of Rihana's Only Girl in The World.
I love both of those songs and I pretty much keep the radio locked on Radio Mirror Park whenever I drive around or do crimes.
I listen to Non Stop Pop, Radio Los Santon and Los Santos Rock Radio. LSRR being my favorite of the three because I just enjoy music from the 80's and around that time period.
Most of the rock stuff and some of the talk. Somebody already mentioned the news and stuff. I think that add a neat feel to playing. I'm more of a classic rock type of guy so I lean that direction when playing. When my son picks something it's usually more hard rock, driving, thumping stuff.
I agree they got kind of serious sounding - I guess for a more realistic type of thing. But the older versions had some light hearted news drops that were cool.
I probably turn the radio off more often than I leave it on, to be honest. I like the talk radio stations more than anything else, though.
I guess you haven't beaten the game then, because you have to commit crimes to pass the missions. Theft is right there in the title. You're missing out of one of the most fun parts of the game if you're just skipping the crime part.
I don't really listen to the radio, I usually just leave it off. Usually though, if I'm listening to the radio, I listen to whichever radio has rap.
Yeah the old ones were a bit more campy in my opinion, and I tend to lean towards that type of thing usually which is why I love bad movies of the 90s.
Radio Mirror Park 24/7. I like all the songs in there, and that station even has my favorite song, "From Nowhere" by Dan Croll (the Baardsen remix). I liked that song ever since I heard it the first time, and I was glad that Rockstar even used it in their next gen trailer.
