I find the driving in GTA V to be great, it's far better than GTA IV and the boat like handling of all the cars in that game. The handling feels great and the cars drive somewhat realistically, definitely feels a lot less arcade like than GTA San Andreas as well. It's obviously not the best driving game but you can't expect much more considering it does so much more than games that only have driving in the game play.

I liked the physics of the game, and how it improved the driving of the cars in the game. I found it easy to play the game, enjoyed how it looked real and was improvement from previous games. I do have to be careful when crashing too hard, as the vehicle can land on top and die from it which is crazy I think in the game. I felt in some missions, the driving was improved and in some of the missions it was quite difficult to drive as other drivers would get in the way and ruin mission sometimes.

Well, it's definitely improving with every new release of the game. I believe that the game physics will never reach such point that it would be very similar to real life. The game would become too hard and not enjoyable if that happened. By the way, it's not a racing simulator.

The physics aren't that horrible I suppose, considering that the developers had to put in attention into a lot more than driving mechanics. I would like to see more variety in driving of different vehicles though, they mostly have the same feel to them.

The game physics has improved and looks more real, and easy to drive the car and do missions compared to the other games. The developers really thought about it and knew what the fans need and did what they thought was right. The detail of the cars is nice, and look so lifelike when sitting in them and driving them feel cool. I think this is one of the best ones, as we play three different people and the choices effect the game and what happens to each person in the game. Even the boat handling has been improved in the previous ones, it was alright but could have been done better and improved a lot.

I think that it's good but I like GTA 4's looseness. But GTA 5 really makes driving better when it comes to being stable so it's hard to pick between the two.

It's pretty bad. I really liked the crazy physics in San Andreas where I can fly all over the place with a combination of bugs and cheats.

I honestly thought it was pretty good. There definitely wasn't anything game breaking or anything even remotely close to that.

I think the physics are good for what it is. It is not going to be as precise as forza or gran turismo physics but it gets the job done. Really the physics are made for anyone to pick up and play it. The only thing I think they should change would be the traction of the cars. Sometimes they will feel really grippy while other times it is very slippery.

People complain about the smallest things. It's amusing. The driving physics in GTA V are fine, and it's easy enough to maneuver through even the tightest of spaces, whether you're driving a car, motorcycle, boat, or flying a plane.

I like how all of the vehicles drive, and can't really tell whether or not they're "realistic" and true to the actual cars in real-life. I've only ever driven a few real cars myself.

I did notice that you can easily flip around and maneuver cars while in mid-air... but I like that, haha.

The driving in GTA 5 is fine. It might feel a bit arcadey from time to time, but that's what I like about it. It doesn't try to emulate real driving to the exact point. I also tend to drive better in GTA 5 than other games, and it feels more manageable and controllable than San Andreas or 4. Your car does explode way too much if you crash, so thank god I'm good at driving.

I still think it's the best driving in any open world game. It's even better than some racing games. I just don't get the complaints. They nailed everything except the rolling of the cars, because nobody wants to be stuck flipped over in the middle of a car chase. They even released patches to correct the things they didn't fix.
