Hey, I'm trying to remember what this game was that some random person I was talking to was going on and on about. He said it was like real life and it's very movie like. You can basically go wherever you want and you just have to figure out what you need to do. There's some girl that's with you the whole time and I think you're trying to rescue her. Sorry it's super vague, but I don't remember anything else.
Would this be Ico? How old is the game? Is it fairly new? If so, could it be The Last of Us? I can't think of many other games where you have to watch over a young girl and rescue her. Ico is an older game from the PS2 and The Last of Us is a recent PS3 title. I'm going to say The Last of Us.
I'm with Brem, thinking it may be Ico. That game doesn't have any dialogue, you have to work everything out for yourself.
Has to be Ico because both 'Last of us' and 'Bioshock infinte' are super popular. the OP must have heard of them. Ico on the other hand is a lesser known game, so its possible the game is Ico.
Right but he said that the game was "like real life" and Ico is nothing like real life. Ico takes place in a fantasy setting. The Last of Us and Heavy Rain have that "real life" feeling and movie-like quality.
Yeah, I agree with Davis here, it does sound like Bioshock. If it's not, then it could be Resident Evil 4, or one of the Silent Hill series. I don't know for sure, I usually remember games by genre and technical features...I know...I'm a nerd .
It sounds like Heavy Rain, but the main protagonist Ethan was chasing after his son, not a daughter or girl. Heavy Rain certainly has that cinematic and movie like quality. I wouldn't say The Last of Us because it's not really where you want to go and anywhere you want to go game. It seems like the game you're trying to describe might be a semi sandbox sort of game. That's a bit too vague honestly, but hopefully you can find the game that you're talking about soon!
Yeah, it could be Ico since you're trying to rescue the girl. It isn't like real life though. Resident Evil 4? I don't think so because you're not always with the president's daughter. The Last of Us could be it though because it's just like real life.
