With sharing your game play becoming more and more possible each day. I love watching others play and somehow found it to be a bit exciting. Do you guys like to watch or play?
I prefer playing and being part of the action. Unless it's local multiplayer, where we can all take turns watching and playing, having a good laugh with one another.
I like watching my friends battle it out because cheering for either player just adds much more to the suspense and enjoyment. I'm not too good with this game so playing with me isn't really all that suspenseful or exciting so I just prefer to watch.
I like doing a bit of both. I do not however enjoy watching random people playing online. If me and my friends are together I do enjoy watching them play and compete with each other while I'm waiting for my turn. It's an exciting game and a lot of fun.
While I find watching others play quite enjoyable, I find it much more enjoyable and entertaining to play it myself. I find that I get a lot more out of it and learn more about the game while also finding it more enjoyable.
Play. Watching my friends play can be funny sometimes, but still for me playing is more action packed.
It depends on the game in my case, I like watching playthroughs of games like the ones Telltale Games releases. As far as Mario Kart goes I like playing it a lot more than watching someone play. Nintendo games in general are made to be played due to the awesome gameplay they tend to have. Story heavy games are sometimes good for watching, but racing games aren't the same in that regard.
Sometimes. If I'm really tired, but still want to get some racing action in, I'll find someone playing it on Twitch and throw it on my second monitor. Fun to see other racing styles and whatnot.
When it comes to Mario Kart specifically then I would say I would much rather play it myself. I don't really see the fun in watching others play this game since it has a multiplayer option anyway so if I want to see people's reactions I'd just call me friends to come over. For other games I love watching streams though, especially if they are informative and teach you something about the game you're watching. I've been watching lots of League of Legends streams and I can definitely tell you that they teach you a lot.
I would have to say I enjoy both equally- it's actually a lot more fun than I would have figured watching other people play, and sometimes it's better when you're just not in the mood yourself, but a lot of the time it's more fun to be part of the action too.
I prefer playing, but watching can be fun sometimes with a bunch of friends. Watching other friends rage and laugh their asses off make me want to do the same, and when I play against friends it's even more hilarious. Mario Kart 8 really nailed the social aspect, and I hope this series will be continued for a long time.
I love to play with friends and ruin their dreams of finally winning a race. They get near the end and BOOM shell right in the back. The only thing they see after that is me going past them. Surprised that I still have friends thanks to Mario Kart.
I really like playing games, that's why I like playing games more than watching other people play them. I sometimes enjoy watching other people playing some games, but in the end I'm the opinion that it is better to play a game rather to watch it. The most fun I have is during the game when I play it and not when other people play it and that I see them having fun at playing the game, it makes me some kind of jealous.
Playing of course, it gets boring just to watch someone else play it. But when you play, you get all psyched and excited and it's really fun.
There are lots of games that I love just watching, but usually I'm that way with RPG's and story-heavy games. With Mario Kart I prefer to play it, I don't think it can be that much fun to watch.
I usually like to play. Personally I find watching people a little boring, because if you're watching it doesn't seem that fun. But when you start to play you get addicted.
Since I am a bad player when it comes to Mario Kart, I allow my sister to do all the playing. I love watching her play. Sometimes I wonder if she will be given an award because she is really good at this game. I am starting to get additive to watching this game because of my sister. That's why I haven't given up on this game. You can still have a lot of fun while watching someone playing this game.
To me I think that I rather play because I have a lot more fun when I am able to beat other people I like top watch sometimes to but honestly I like to play more.
I like to watch and play so I prefer both. I'll watch someone else play to see how that person does and to cheer him or her on plus I also learn how to play a new game by watching. I will also play the game and see if I win but no matter what happens I'm having a great time.
