I like how they are making it so you can play forever, with updates and dlc and whatever else is in the game. I'm really excited for this game to play online with friends and create a crew. I haven't played a racing game in a long time, and the first promising one for next-gen is a good comeback. I think it will eventually get old but I'm sure they would release a sequel.
I will play almost any game forever, if it is updated. The thing that bugs me is when people decide to take the lax route when it comes to keeping things upgraded. Most companies do it to push out more products/services but when it comes to games, a good gaming company will have me as a lifetime customer, not just a one game player.
If the game lives up to the promises that the game developers have made, I will surely be playing this game for a long time. The crew is definitely going to be the biggest and baddest racing game that has ever been made.
I actually think quite the opposite. For me, either I get bored right away or a few weeks in. The only game to keep me interested that long was Burnout.
I heard that you could go all across America and I'm sure that will be pretty fun to do with other people playing online. Maybe there will be organized marathons.
Does one truly "quit" driving? I wonder if the MMO will feel more like an arcade than a simulator. I don't mean simulator as in "true-driving", but more along the lines of how the car physics will work on the track. Online games tend to feel awkward.
Well, I think I will play it for a long time, but I could be wrong. For now the game is looking amazing and is my most wanted game!
Probably not. By the time I'm finished with most of what this game has to offer, something better will come out that will grab my attention and I won't be as interested in completing the WHOLE game. It happens with every game I get.
I doubt it, but I know I will spend many sleepless days on it. I can't wait for it to come out so we can play it. It's the racing game a lot of us have been dreaming of.
Some people might stay for years, like the people who may have been playing for 5+ years on MMOs like WoW and Everquest. Most people will probably be regular and play the game for a few months or so, and then only play it every once in awhile after that. I don't expect people to be playing this game more than 5 years down the line.
We won't, most probably there is going to be another MMO in about a year or they will make a sequel for this. Games like this don't have extended life which means they need to be updated for time to time so the game doesn't become a boring experience for the players. I personally started to lose my interest in it and I'm not playing it as much as I used to.
No, I really don't think we will playing it forever. Every game reaches a point of being boring and old and I feel like when you beat the who,e thing, it just won't be that fun anymore.
Probably not, quests will probably become repetitive and eventually we will give up on the game or at least take a break. There are no games that I can think of that I would like to play forever without at least taking a long break inbetween two playthroughs. Even my favorite games sometimes feel boring because I've played them too much and I think it will be the case with this game too.
