I usually listen only to Los Santos Rock Radio but occasionally I turn on the mexican one because of the song Maldito, which I love.
Rebel radio because they have some pretty funny stuff on there, but that's when were actually listening to music from the game. Usually we listen to my husbands songs that he has on the x box.
I think the music in GTA5 is very good. I especially like Los Santos Rock (as I'm a small fan of rock), and the music just sounds SO good when you are just cruising along in a very nice car.
I'm usually listening to West Coast Classics. I also listen to Flylo a lot. I think the only station I don't listen to is Nonstop Pop. I just can't appreciate pop music.
Why would you want to be distracted from the murder and mayhem in GTA? The murder and mayhem in GTA distracts us from the murder and mayhem in real life. If you want to go a step further and be distracted from the murder in a video game, just play Harvest Moon or Barbie Horse Adventure. In GTA games, the mayhem is the point of the game so I don't want to miss any of it. I think that the crazy talk radio stations actually enhance the madness and mayhem.
Los Santos Rock and Radio Mirror Park are my go to's. And I agree with ACSAPA regarding the whole distraction from murder and mayhem...that is a bit of the point, not to mention the correlation to real life distractions and such. Hmm :/.
I always listen to Los Santos, by far the best channel there is. I don't think wanting to be distracted from the ''murder and mayhem'' is a bad thing though. Even if it is the whole point of the game, it is fun to ignore it for a bit without having to play other games. I think it's just part of the experience. Also I don't think the game's point is to distract us from real life and it certainly does not do that job well for me if it is the case.
My favorite is Radio Mirror Park and the second is Los Santos Rock. I've always listen to them when I'm not on a mission.
Los Santos Rock for me, although I don't listen to that much radio, I'm always scrambling to get to the next mission and sometimes only notice I had the radio turned off when I get to the target area.
