Forza Horizon 2′s signature Lamborghini Huracán is one of the sleekest and most elegantly designed objects ever created by human hands. You’d probably never think of painting teeth, fish, or pink hearts and roses on one. But you aren’t a kid.

Xbox teamed up with Lamborghini, Hot Wheels and Boys & Girls Clubs of America to offer 100s of kids a chance to design their own Forza 2 Horizon cars. Below are the designs that were chosen to be included as downloadable liveries in the game and will be available soon. There’s a monster theme, some kind of Finding Nemo thing I dunno, and the work of a kid who couldn’t decide if they liked flowers or patriotism better and split the difference.

The winners were unveiled at a “Kids into Car Lovers Day” event celebrating the launch of Forza Horizon 2 at the Santa Monica Boys & Girls Club. The event was designed to foster a love of cars in kids, and they also got to play the game with the custom liveries installed, see a fleet of Lambos, and were given Hot Wheels toys.

Is there room to point out that it’s a little weird to parade cars that cost a quarter of a million bucks and up at a center for often underprivileged kids? Yes, there certainly is. But it’s also a much warmer and more humanitarian event than most self-centered video game launch parties, so we’re going to give Xbox the benefit of the doubt on this one and assume their hearts are in the right place. And yeah, we’ll play with the pink car, too.

This is pretty nice, giving these kinds a chance to show off their creativity to the world like this. These designs have the unadultered creative freedom that only kids show.

I actually don't hate the designs. They're good enough, and I like the connection to the Boys & Girls Club. It's a nice gesture that's pretty clever if you ask me.

I agree with Troutski, they're not bad for kids work- especially the middle one with the finding nemo turtles. I think it's really cool to tie it in like that and give them a chance to translate their creativity to something tangible that they can share with the world. The parade of cars may have been a little much but overall, a cool gesture.

Oh that is so cool I love Lamborghini's and with them having the kids designs on the cars makes me like them that much more, I especially like the pink one.

I actually think this art is pretty good, especially for kids. I also love how they actually incorporated this into the game. It really shows that they care about the community.

This is cool. Children have that creative energy if you only give then a chance. I like the designs, good job kids, Forza and Xbox.

Aww, that's so sweet. I love when developers do something like this. It shows they really care about the community based on their games. Pretty sure this will get them some extra sold copies.

To be fair, there are plenty of things out there that kids can beat the adults at. ;]

This is great. I know I would have lost my mind if I had gotten is opportunity as a kid. I hope this becomes tradition of at least I hope more game companies start to follow suit because I think this is a very good idea to motivate or inspire kids.
