I've grown up playing the Mario Kart series, so I'm obviously going to be a bit biased towards it. I've only played a few demos for All Stars Racing Transformed, but I have really enjoyed it from what I played. It adds a few interesting twists and turns that MK has never had.
Seriously and just imagine a sequel with modern tech and voice acting. It would be absolutely incredible.
God, that would be amazing. I wonder how a modern graphics version of Ryo Hazuki would look. I know he appeared in the first Sonic All-Stars Racing games, but I want to see him in high def in his game.
Ah, I see. Mario Kart is a good game, but I just prefer SEGA overall. My daughter feels the same. She might be a bit biased, since she grew up with Sonic, though.
Maybe things would've been different if I had a Sega growing up. I didn't even know they made consoles until a few years ago. Didn't play very much Sonic either. Tried to recently, but I guess it's another thing that only sticks if you played it growing up.
I suppose so. I didn't really grow up with Nintendo, though I do like some of their games anyway. I like Mario, but I don't get the same feeling I do when I play a Sonic game. I guess it does just have to do with what you grew up with.
Well, there was also limited capability of the graphics for the Dreamcast, but it's still impressive what they did at that time. Shenmue 2's graphics improved on the original Xbox. Hazuki-san looked better in Sonic All-Star Racing for the 360. He'll probably look amazing if Shenmue 3 comes out during this gaming generation.
Shenmue III on PC would be the best possible thing. It wouldn't limit the people walking around and stuff.
Too me I do not think that there is any racing game that could come close to a Mario Kart game. Mario Kart games are the most fun that I have ever had in my life. I like Sonic better in the platform type of games for him and racing I think that the game was good , but not like a Mario Karts that would keep you playing and playing.
Well, that'd be good for the PC gamers, but I'm a console gamer. My computers not fitted with proper specs to become a computer gamer. Besides, that's pretty pricey, I think. Being a PC gamer.
Ah, you're the first person that has said "both". I actually do like both games. I just have a bit of a bias to SEGA because I played their games more than Nintendo back then. I do like Sonic a it better than Mario, but both games are good.
I actually haven't played the Sonic ones, so I really can't say as far as comparing the two...they seem pretty similar, though. I imagine I'd like it just as much.
