We all know that it's going to be a MMO. As with all the other MMOs, you'll be playing with other people in this game. Does it bother you?

Not really because from what the beta showed.. you aren't forced to play with anyone..

I don't think it would bother me because there are already a lot of games I could go to if I just wanted to play alone. I think it would be fun to play with others, but hopefully they do it right.

I think it will be fun especially when rankings are involved. I am sure there will be a lot of competition and leader boards, and it will be exciting to race against real people rather than the AI. Maybe you could be part of something like a community or club, with events held every week.

It doesn't bother me at all. In fact, I think it will be fun because playing against other players is always nice. Playing against AIs can become too easy and monotonous. Playing against real humans, however, can provide a factor of unpredictability.

Just a little. I like to get a hang of the game before I start playing with others. You can accomplish these things with other people but it'll be much more difficult. While there's plenty of cool people who play online there's always one jerk giving everyone a hard time.

I, sure there will be a chance to play offline to get accustomed to the mechanics first, but yeah I agree that online is usually totally different. Hopefully there will be some measures to make the playing field level for everyone.

Just because it's an MMO doesn't really mean that you're forced to play with other people. There's probably still races and jobs you can do solo, just like solo quests in RPGs.

That said, the social aspect of MMOs is often regarded as a selling point. Sure there are toxic community members, but there are likely to be many more friendly people who are just looking to have fun. You could always start building a friendlist by joining a decent guild, or even form one of your own with real life friends if they play the game as well.

Not really to be honest. The whole reason I buy MMO's is to interact with others and race against them. If I wanted to play a single player game I'd rather look at the already established titles like Gran Turismo and Need for Speeds because I know those will be fun. What makes The Crew fun is the whole MMO part of it. So no, it doesn't annoy me to play with others, on the contrary it definitely does excite me.

I don't know if we'll actually be forced to play with others in The Crew, but if we are, I wouldn't mind. MMOs are very fun and playing with a lot of other people is very fun. There's a lot of things that might go wrong with this game, but the MMO side of it probably won't be one of those.

It won't bother me. That is probably the main reason I'm going to buy the game, because you can play with other people. I don't think it forces you, but if it does, then I wouldn't mind because it would make it more fun than playing against the computer.

No, that's actually one of the features and pulled me into this game. Without the multiplayer this would be just another racing game, really generic...

I like playing with others, but I'm wondering how it will work without internet in rural areas. As for me though, it won't bother me at all, and obviously it's one of the main focuses of the game, right down to being the focus in the trailers as well.

Honestly I don't know anybody who doesn't have access to internet. Perhaps that's just my country though but here even farmers have super fast internet speeds even though they often live far away from the city. I'd say the people who don't have internet access shouldn't be interested in this game at all, rather just get something like NFS then.

Very true, and I feel the same way. Other than Burnout, most racing games look very similar to me, but there's always some minor differentiator and for this one it just happens to be very massive.

Not particularly. I've always found racing with others much, much more interesting than playing with the boring ole CPU.

Another good part about the fact that you play with others is that every single race will be unpredictable, AI is often very predictable and in some games I actually play around it to win races. AI has definitely improved over the past years but I don't think it can ever bring as much unpredictability as real, online players can. Racing online is the future for me.

It doesn't bother me, because I like to play games with other people. I think that a game is way more fun this way and you can also learn a lot of things from other people. You also get bored after a while playing just against the AI and not actual people, you won't get bored as soon with real people.

Doesn't bother me at all, it's actually better that way in my opinion.

You can still wonder about, I guess, but playing with others doesn't bother me. I prefer solo career, true, but I don't have anything against playing with others. It's unpredictable and fun. I hope you'll be able to play on your own as well. Sometimes playing with AI is just what you need - they're predictable and you can set the difficulty level. When you're playing with someone else, it's a completely different story and you can't calculate anything. It's pure chance and the performance defined by the current moment.
