For all those waiting for the game to be released on PC, there is a bad news for you, GT A V is not going to be released alongside consoles. It's going to arrive later on PC. While they say that the reason behind the delay is to polish the title a bit more for PC. Do you think it's the case?
Yeah I heard about it too, they are apparently trying to make it look as amazing as possible. Since its possible to make the graphics much better on PC, I don't mind the wait, cos it will set it apart from consoles. Most games nowadays look the same across platforms, not something that is necessary for PC.
I believe them if that's what they say. I don't think they are the type if company to do unnecessary gimmicks to build hype because they don't need it. I think it is better to delay and get a game that runs well than one that you get on time but glitches up or not at it's best.
A lot of console game developers are hesitant to make PC ports since they know a lot of people will just pirate the game. I hope the PC version comes out soon but you never know if they will want to release it at all.
I'm not a PC gamer. So long as they don't make GTA a PC exclusive, I can still play them. Still, I do feel bad for you PC gamers. They're really delaying that version of the game. Hopefully, the wait will be worth it.
True that. I concur. As much as you'd like to argue against it, it's true that PC version is going to get pirated like crazy.
That just isn't right. Still, I know that's probably true. People will find ways to get a free illegal download of the game. It's just unfair to the developers. They worked so hard on the game, the least they could get is a proper purchase of the game from the consumers.
Yeah, illegal downloads suck that's sad. That also makes the developers look more at the console developement rather than making games for PC. I hope the longer wait for the PC game it's worth it! I trust them, they want to give us the best product they could offer! I don't really mind the delay.
Yep, mainly the illegal downloads and mods are the reasons that hold developers from releasing a game to the PC. Even though mods are awesome, they might keep you from buying an updated version of the game, but that is not the case for GTA V. The good thing it is coming to PC eventually.
I'm not a PC gamer, but I don't think it's such a big deal. You get the best version, graphically, of the game. It's only natural they will need more time to make it look amazing, you've already waited a year, a few more months won't be that bad.
I agree. I think that is especially applicable for GTA and the company that makes it because you can tell that they really are putting their heart into it and not merely just pushing out new versions for the money. Of course the money is probably also an incentive, but they at least make up for it with worthy effort and creativity.
Rockstar always tries to exceed their best efforts to put out the best game possible at that time. I can tell that they put their heart and soul into the GTA games and their other series as well. If anyone deserves to get their money for their hard work, it's Rockstar.
Normally it takes a while for a game to be released on the pc idk why buy it just does. I know that when they do release it on the PC though that it is going to be really good looking because most of the times when the game is on the pc according to the kind of graphics card that you are running then the game will look really good so I think that it is worth the wait.
That's the thing. The graphical capabilities of consoles versus PC is just so different. The specs and all the things needed for PC gaming, it probably takes a bit more work to make the game work for PC.
Now that you mention it, they probably are going to be making it look even better on PC, and now I can't wait to see it. I'll be looking forward to the comparison articles that will come out after its release.
Well, it'll be irrelevant for me personally. I just am not a PC gamer. My computer doesn't have all the gaming components. I'm a console gamer. Still, for those who do game on PC, I hope your version is just as good.
Rockstar puts forth their best efforts to make the best game possible at that time. I'm sure you can trust them to make a really good PC version of the game. Hopefully, not too many people will ruin it for you guys by illegally downloading it (as in, too many people do that).
I'm a console gamer myself, but I enjoy reading about PC articles as well, especially ports since I get to compare whatever graphic differences I'm missing out on. Just for fun, though, as they still seem pretty much equal to me because I'm just a casual player.
Ah, well. I kind of do the same thing. Especially when the Definitive Edition of Tomb Raider came out. I compared the current gen with the next gen, and both gens with the PC version. For that game, it seems the next gen looks best.
