Can you name all the Disney innuendos that you can only catch if you're an adult? And yes there are sexual innuendos in Disney movies.

I only know of Frozen and Lilo and Stitch.

Frozen: "Why have a ballroom with no balls."

Lilo and Stitch: When Lilo puts a lay around Stitch and he's suddenly relaxed. It's because he got "laid".

There are so many. There are tons in Lion King and Aladdin. I think almost every Disney movie has its two or three innuendos, although some of the films have plenty more than that.

I once saw an article that showed many of the shenanigans Disney animators did with their drawings including camouflaged drawings of genitals in. Little Mermaid and the clouds spelling sex in Lion. King. I don't mind. I think it took guts for them to do it and now it's a part of history.

I know of the Little Mermaid, Lion King and Aladdin. I was wondering if anyone knew of others.

Why would they do this though ? Just for a laugh ? I mean the kids are not going to pick up on it would they ? Something for the parents to chuckle at when they are dragged to the theaters by their kids ?

I never did. I didn't know about it until someone pointed it out to me and then I discovered there was a giant dildo on the cover of The Little Mermaid. I think they do it for the parents. Kind of like giving them a scavenger hunt while watching Frozen for the billionth time with their kids. lol

I know they do it a lot in cigarette advertisements. A ton. It was pointed out to me in health class.

But most of what the cigarettte companies do is purposeful and sexual. Makes the viewer think "oh I start smoking and I will get hot women and live life to the fullest". Newport pleasure is itself a hidden message. LMAO.

Frozen? Really? I didn't notice anything odd and I have watched it fairly recently. There was that comment Christopher had made about Prince Hans... but that's the only thing that I'd noticed. I guess I wasn't fishing for it, so I must have missed it.

I think it's mostly because of this. They are giving the adults a nudge so they don't end up getting too bored. The kids won't get it so they are able to get away with it.

Honestly, I love seeing this. Maybe it's the animators being saucy, giving the parents something so that they can relate or open up their eyes a little. Maybe they just want that little piece of infamy in their movies, I don't know. But, I love seeing those little pieces of innuendo because when you re watch the movie as an adult for some childhood memories, you see the movie in a different point of view which is awesome. I love catching those small easter eggs, even if they are dirty :)

After reading this post, I'm tempted to re-watch some Disney movies just to try and find some! I'm pretty sure Lilo and Stitch has a ton, and Lion King too. But this is really an interesting topic.

There are a lot of innuendos not just in the movies but also some of the old cartoons like Mickey mouse. It was also kinda vulgar and dirty if you watched it.

I agree. I think lots of cartoons have these types of hidden messages for adults to enjoy because the writers know that parents will be watching with their kids and it's good to have something to amuse them too.
