I always just assumed this game always had a physical copy, probably because it's so well made that I never really saw it as an indie game especially since it was so successful and praised by the masses that it felt to me like a AAA company made it. Good on them to reach this milestone or whatever else it should be called lol. Nonetheless congratulations to the revs.

I wish they go the pre-order route. That would be the way to minimize their risks. However if the physical copy will have content which makes it special as they say then there'll be gamers who'll be quite eager to buy it.

That's pretty cool but I don't see this move benefiting them too much. They're better off promoting themselves online.

I've seen way less successful franchises get physical release, so I must say this is an achievment well earned by Psyonix.

I say good for them. They sure have earned it, as not a lot of indie games can say they can now have a hard copy that will be sold in stores all over the globe. I think it shows a lot of inspiration for all the indie companies and video game makers out there. Dreams DO come true if you have the effort and the idea to make your game a success. I think it also speaks volumes to the gaming community, for trying out games that have lesser finances than the larger video game companies, and that they were able to give enough visibility for the game to get it a deal with companies.
