Microsoft announced the next expansion to their racer Forza 6 today: the NASCAR expansion. This new pack adds a new track (Homestead Miami Speedway) and 24 new cars from racing teams like Joe Gibbs Racing, Chip Ganassi Racing, Stewart-Haas Racing, Hendrick Motorsports, and Team Penske. I had high hopes for this update when I first head about it and was hoping there would be cars from different eras of the Nascar series but as it is it just contains cars from the top flight series. The new venue is pretty nice though and I want to see me pics and vids of it.
Would've been nice to have some classical Nascar cars in there, but I'm happy with the new venue at least.
I'm surprised this wasn't in the game since the beginning. I'm glad they finally added it though. It's a great feature for an already superb game.
Might be a neat addition, but it says that it adds 10 hours of gameplay. I don't think so unless it takes 10 hours to finish that one race track. Expansions are becoming a joke nowadays. 10 years back expansion pack meant pretty much a new game, based on the old one, now it means 1 new racetrack and few more drivable cars. Disappointing, isn't it?
I hate these expansions which get you to spend more money on a game. $20 for the expansion pack and the game cost $60? Though Nascar expansion is nice charging twenty bucks for it isn't fair.
I've almost never played a nascar game before but this actually makes me quite interested in it. Hopefully It will appeal to me and I will pick up on a new genre that I can call one of my favorites. I'm sure it will be well made since it is Forza after all.
I loved your line. I completely agree. It's an 'already superb game'. This add-on feature would make the game more amazing.
Well, it's great treat for NASCAR fans considering how there hasn't really been any decent NASCAR games coming out for a while now.
