November 15? That's actually pretty soon, it must've been in the works for a while to have such a short-term release date.

They're promising a lot of things and I'll be really hyped if they deliver on them. GT hasn't been the best when it comes to graphics, so hopefully they figure that out this time.

This could be the greatest racing game of the year, considering it doesn't have too much competition. I am surprised to hear that it is coming out this year, but I am happy we are getting it so soon. I hope they improve the controls in this version as Gran Turismo isn't known for them.

I suppose those who'll be getting themselves Sony's PS VR will not mind the graphics as I'm sort of sure that it will make playing the game even more enjoyable.

Though I'd have loved to get this game, I'll have to wait until VR gets to be more affordable before I do.

Gran Turismo Sport as been a few years in the making, and because of that it's got a big reputation to live up to. Even now there are gamers ready to start complaining about the game from a few videos and pictures, and it's still 6 months away from release still.

Sure with the popularity and success of the rest of the series up to now, this one deserves to be given a chance?

I read an article that said graphics don't matter as much for VR as your eyes adjust to the image. There's still a lot of people that are gonna play it without VR though, so it should at least try to compete with the rest of the racing games out there.

But taking into account the fact that they are trying to beat deadlines and even scrapped the Open Beta so they could, I think the game might not be that great and they may try to appease fans with free DLCs. Some fans speculate that the game may be delayed. If it isn't then what they'll be getting is a half-baked game.

I really hope it's delayed. GT has always been a solid racing franchise and I would hate to see it do badly because of a bad release.

Gran Turismo Sport VR though, is just that, a version being made specifically for Var, and as far as I know it doesn't have any effect in Grand Turismo 7 that were still expecting to be out next year.

Gran Turismo 7 as been that long in development that gamers will be VERY unforgiving if that turns out to be a poor, no matter how this VR version turns out.

Same here. Although I would maybe also be disappointed if it were delayed since I'd want to see the full version as early as possible but you're right it's much better to wait further than get a buggy game early.

The way they intend to fix it is with DLC which is why they developers promised that DLC for Gran Turismo Sport will be arrive faster. Gamers will be spending more money on them that but if they improve the gaming experience significantly it won't be all that bad.

Eh, hope that they are reasonable with the DLC. I'm not gonna pay through the nose for a complete game.

I suppose they'll price the DLC thusly:

There'll be some free downloadable content. There'll be cheap DLC [a buck or thereabouts] and there'll be the pricier DLC that will cost more than $5.

Sadly this is one of the reasons I'm not a huge fan of DLC as I think some game developers are taking advantage. Fine, if players want to pay for extras in the game then so be it, but don't release a game, charge full price for it but then expect people to pay more for things that should have really been in the game in the first place.
