I preferred Franklin over the other characters. I actually wanted more missions centered around him. I felt as thought they had the story centered mostly around Michael and then Trevor. Though, Franklin had a lot of aspects about him that could have been told. Heck, at the end you play as him and can choose what to do.
Trevor. I like it when I get to play a character who is absolutely insane. It's not often that games let you do that, so I cherish it when it happens. I found Franklin to be the most boring; he was the best of them, in my oppinion, and that flawed character thing really makes a game better for me. Of course the scenes with Michaels kids made me want to blow my brains out, but they had amazingly annoying voice actors, so it's really no surprise.
I love Franklin, but my favorite character is Trevor. He is someone I can count on to have my back no matter what because he doesn't care about anything. Ruthless would be an understatement to describe him.
I liked Franklin the most. I can relate to him a bit since I'm also black, and he has the funniest scenes. Michael is a bit boring and Trevor is... uhh, interesting.
Michael was definitely my favorite. His backstory was quite intriguing. I enjoyed playing as Micheal more so than any other character.
Trevor is such a funny character that I even became a fan of the actor that plays him. If you're ever watching Broad City on Comedy Central and you see an episode with a perverted locksmith, that's Steven Ogg playing another weirdo.
It's true that Trevor can be counted on, because in his own way he's very loyal and protective of Michael's family. That's why he was so upset that Michael lied to him and vanished years ago.
I'm gonna have to say I prefer Trevor to the others. He's just got that craziness about him that I find funny, plus the dialogue he uses when you get involved in shoot-outs can't be beat.
I prefer to play as Frank and Michael but mostly Frank. I like Frank and how he acts. And also when I'm switching to Trevor sometimes he was on Mount Chilliad, naked and drunk. Sometimes he was running havoc or getting chased by the cops.
Michael was my favorite, Trevor coming as second best. I really loved the former's backstory, it was pretty intriguing. Franklin didn't spark my interest too much.
One thing I did see was that there was a lot of character development between all of these characters and I really enjoyed that aspect.
I did not know this. I love that show and I actually liked that character and scene a lot even though it was just a minor plot point in the whole episode.
I love to play with Michael because he is a former bank robber. And that's what I like the most about him because it gives me real thrill and suspense to live the moment. He's also got a sweetheart to deal with FIB.
To me, the three protagonists almost represent the different ways that people play GTA. The more casual player that cruises through town, doing as they please, would go for Franklin. The more mission oriented player that goes about using skilled or organized ways to commit crimes would like Michael. The wild player that just runs around with reckless abandon, doing all kinds of morally questionable and depraved things, would love Trevor. I'm of the kind that think Trevor is just awesome.
I liked Trevor the most, but I spent more time playing with Franklin. I didn't like that Trevor spawned all the way out in Timbuktu sometimes. Franklin also has those sweet racing mission.
I agree I think his personality is the most defined and you could tell that the developers were having fun making him too and giving him stuff to do or say.
