Driving games make you lose interest quicker than other games?

I don't know a game that I wouldn't get bored after playing it for a while. If I enjoy a game, I will play it for long periods of time. For example I played Underground 2 for a very long time and completed it 100% quite a few times, but on other racing games I quickly lost interest.

the only driving games that could ever hold my attention was the old burnout games. only because it was equal part driving and blowing shit up so it was always more exciting to me than just racing other cars haha

I get bored sometimes with normal racing games but not with GTA games because they have mini games and a lot of things to explore. I can only do racing around the same tracks so many times but GTA games have a lot of Easter eggs to find.

GTA races makes everything better, and that's all you need to know or feel!

I think racing games do get boring after a awhile because it's really repetetive. However, some games are really fun to play for YEARS. For example, Burnout Paradise is so fun, I still play it and it's like 7 years old or something close to that.

Same here. I could play those games over and over just because the feature of having to takedown your opponents made it so much more exciting and added a lot of replay value to the traiditional racing game genre.

I have to say that Burnout gets really boring after too long. It's a game series that I loved but can't stand playing now for whatever reason.

Yeah after a while it does get tiring but I find that if I just switch versions for a bit then I can enjoy it again. Maybe it's just because I love the game too much that I don't get tired of it as easily. Also playing crash mode breaks up the monotony just right.

I feel that, but then again, when I lose interest in a game, I simply take a break from it for about a month, while I play other games, and then I'll come back to it. It certainly is true that driving games bore me way easily than, say, first person shooters, but then again I guess it's because I tend to have more fun with first person shooter games, and I think it may also be because shooter games give me more adrenaline than driving ones.

It's the opposite for me. Burnout Paradise is such a fun game, especially playing online with friends. The toy cars was the best thing they ever added to a game! :p

I did not know about the toy cars, I only got to to play the latest version a couple times at a friends house. I mostly just love the older versions and someday soon I hope I get to get into the latest one.
