Slightly Mad Studios has announced four additional tracks for its upcoming crowd-funded racer. According to Slightly Mad, the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, Donington Park and Snetterton are coming to the game. Here’s how Slightly Mad described the tracks in a press release, along with some pics of the new tracks: Players of Project CARS will get the chance to participate in the world’s biggest motor race – the 24 Hours of Le Mans. For over 80 years manufacturers and drivers have been flocking to France each June trying to make their mark on this prestigious event by proving both their speed and stamina – and now it’ll be your turn facing off against a full grid of 55 opponents on the track and racing through the night and into the dawn the next day. Featuring severe elevation changes and the infamous “Corkscrew”, Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca has hosted a number of Grand Prix for cars, karts, and bikes for over 50 years. Now you can experience this track in unprecedented detail and in all weather conditions. Home to rock concerts, grand prix, and motorbike championships alike, Donington Park was the first park circuit in England and continues to this day to be a household name with racing fans from around the world. As a member of the Motorsport Vision group, Snetterton is host to Touring, GT, and Superbike championships and is also a common test track for professional race teams. Featuring three layouts, Snetterton is one of the UK’s newest race tracks and is sure to delight players wanting to either compete there themselves or use it as a proving ground for trying out their latest car setups. You can see the full listing of tracks revealed so far here. Project CARS will be out on Xbox One, PS4 and Windows March 17, 2015. It’s also coming to Wii U and Steam OS at a date to be determined in 2015. The post Project CARS Reveals New Locations to Burn Virtual Rubber appeared first on Racing Game Central. I'm very much looking forward to this, it looks amazing. I am slightly concerned that it might be more of the same old, but I'm honestly hoping for something different, and it looks like it might deliver? I'm not sure, but I'll probably end up buying it anyway.
I haven't heard much about this game. However, those screens look really nice. Would anyone be willing to fill me in a on some more information about the game.
I'm not a fan of raceways, but I think hardcore racers would find it enjoyable. I believe it should closely resemble the sites in real life.
I'm really impressed with the graphics of the new games and particularly this one. I initially didn't think the difference would be that noticeable but I was mistaken. I'm very excited to get to try this out for myself.
it looks very nice, and the 24 hours of Le mans, is going to be really fun. This game should do well.
Thanks for posting the list of all of the tracks! I will be looking forward to playing this game soon! Awesome! I just hope that I still have xbox live by then and can play with others.
That's actually impressive, and I rarely make such concessions to racing games from any developer since so much amounts to rehashes and minor upgrades. Still, Le Mans is a great addition to the game, and these tracks (and their graphics) make me a little more interested in this one.
