Anyone here is making their own playlist for NFS? I've got mine with songs like:
    Eminem - Fast Lane
    Kanye West - Stronger
Avril Lavigne - Rock 'n Roll
and the list could go on. What is on your playlist?

I don't usually make my own playlist, as I like to remember games by the songs they had included and vice-versa. The most memorable game in this vein was Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2005).

I just put my spotify playlist on shuffle and let it run. I like the NFS soundtrack, but the songs get repetitive after a while.

I usually listen to songs from the game's playlist, but remove the ones that I don't like. I listen enough to my own playlist, on my pc, on my phone, I don't have to listen to the same songs while playing games too :p.

I prefer just using the in game music since I feel it is a more authentic experience, but once I've played the game enough times that the music gets tiring, I'll switch to my own, although that takes a very long time to happen as usually I only get sick of the songs around the same time I get sick of the game.

Nah, I really like the game music. I just can't get pumped up if I don't hear the songs in the games and all I'm hearing is some rap, if you know what I mean. The soundtrack is pretty good.

I'm not too much of a music fan so if I don't like game music I'd prefer to have no music playing. In any case I wouldn't even be listening to the music while I play.

Yeah I always do it. The music in NFS is pretty good but it gets repetitive and boring after a while. My music library is huge so I never get bored of listening to the same things. I leave the SFX on and it doesn't really affect my experience too much. I love NFS and the OST but I get bored of listening the same things over and over again.

Sometimes I get this way. It helps my gameplay on some occasions especially when I get to a stage where I get stuck. Having no music helps me concentrate a lot better.

I use the ingame music most of the time. I think they did a pretty good job with the music.

I agree. I've always liked the selection they use for the music, and it's varied enough so that it doesn't get tiring quickly. It usually takes me months before I get sick of the songs enough to make an effort to change them.

I like the music in the game, but I agree that there are times when I want to listen to my own jams. I put on my stereo and just turn of the music in the settings. It helps to relax me when I can just drive and chill out. One of the best ways to spend my day.

Yes, I definitely always listen to my own music when playing Need For Speed, although the game does also contain some pretty good tracks. I'm mainly into heavy rock and heavy metal music which I think goes pretty well with racing games - i.e. it's high adrenaline, fast action, high octane music!

Rock music and racing games go very well together in my opinion. I also like high tempo dance music as well but as long as the songs are good then the genres don't matter that much.

Definitely not, I enjoy over 90% of the tunes featured in EA Trax. I think that a lot of effort goes towards picking great songs which go nicely with the racing mood, I've discovered many new artists I never knew before from playing the game. Any songs which I don't like, I just skip them or remove them from the playlist.

Some songs are so memorable and iconic I automatically associate them with the game whenever I hear them - "Shapeshifter" for Most Wanted and "Paradise City" for Burnout Paradise.

No, Need for Speed games usually have great soundtrack, so there is no reason why I would use my own.

NO! I don't think that we should listen to our own playlist because the game developers have to think hard about the music that they interact in the game and that's really motivating. And if we see that we hear our playlist all the time when we like and in game I don't prefer to listen to my playlist. At least, when we are playing we should enjoy it.

At first, like in most games, I would enjoy the in-game music to pump me up while playing. However, after about 30 hours playing the same game, you kinda get bored of the original soundtrack, and to keep things fresh and interesting in your gaming time, you have to play other songs outside the game, and just mute the soundtrack in the game.

The game has a great music itself but whenever i get bore from it i use to play the Eminem's song " All She Wrote " in the background. This song motivates more into the games. Have heard about this song?
