I've heard good things about JC2 and from what I saw it looks pretty good. This one looks amazing and I might have to get it. Over 400 miles of map is insane!
Just Cause 2 is an incredibly underrated game. That's basically a fact. I'd recommend playing it AND picking this one up!
http://unrealitymag.bcmediagroup.ne.../uploads/2010/05/large-video-game-worlds2.jpg ^ For size compared to other games. The map is BIG. There are some big land masses, and then there are some little island chains, too.
That image is seriously eye-opening. Thanks! You know, to think that when GTA: SA came out we we're praising it's huge map size, but compared to open world maps of today's games it makes San Andreas look tiny. Thanks again troutski! Did Just Cause 2 have any sort of storyline or was it just about wrecking stuff?
Yeah, there's a story. It's a little out there, but it suits the overall nature of Just Cause 2 pretty well.
And actually, some of those games from that map comparison chart (and the bigger one that accompanies it) are older than San Andreas. It's just crazy that Daggerfall's map is so gigantic when the game came out in the mid-1990s.
I'm kind of new to the franchise but the trailer looks pretty intriguing. Even though games are always pumped up in terms of graphics and gameplay to look good in trailers, this one seems like it's going to be a hit.
I think that all you need to know is that JC2 let you fling vehicles off the side of a cliff, and you'll roll and bash into stuff and explode and keep on rolling until you hit the ground or the ocean. ...that took about 30 to 90 seconds to complete from the top to the bottom. It's chaos.
When your character dies, he kind of ragdolls for a few seconds, but that's about it. There's a bit of ragdolling in other scenarios, though!
All this talk is really getting me quite hyped for JC3 if I'm honest. I really think I might have to pre-order it.
I won't judge you for doing it. I'll probably pre-order it, too, but it's definitely a day one purchase for me at the very least.
If I were to consider pre-ordering a game it would be Just Cause 3 or Fallout 4. It's a really amazing game, and I'm sure they're going to nail the release. The game looks really good from all the gameplay demos, so there's no reason to not pre-order it unless you want to be 100% sure.
What if you have little money at the moment? Does that count as a reason to not pre-order? Why do all the good games have to come out all around the same time? It's great for variety but horrible if you're low on funds.
I'm really excited about Jus Cause 3. I love the second game because it improved so many things compared to the first one. I've had fun for hundreds of hours and I can only that Just Cause 3 offers the same experience but with a bigger and better map. I feel like the developers have many challenges to overcome but I'm hoping that everything will be ok.
Meeeh, when a game is that epic you make sure to pre-order it! Mow a lawn, eat only beans and rice for meals - everything to get your hands on it ASAP. I'm j/k, I sound like an addicted person who hasn't gotten his dose of drugs in a week.
