Grand Theft Auto: The 10 Worst Cities for Auto Theft

Speaking of video games, with California(Ca) topping the list with 8 /10 worst cities for auto theft, it is a no-brainer as to the setting of the PlayStation game, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

 

To be fair, why would you want to steal a car from any other city? Detroit has dodgy old fords, Tokyo has dinky micro cars which your friends would laugh at and anywhere in the UK just makes lumpy 4x4's for tea drinkers. California speedsters or nothing! (Not that I'm condoning thieving of course).

I wish they had GTA in Texas. I would love a GTA in Austin. They would have so many fun characters. There are so many weirdos in Austin and the game could include some music element. That's a game I would buy.

 

GTA in London would be pretty cool.

 

I agree it would be nice to have future GTA games in different countries it will keep the product more fresh as long as the story is good.

 

Imo, cities with beaches and lots of clubs make the best setting since it's easier for the devs to make more content (Races, party, music, etc)

 

London or could you imagine paris, that would be a hell of a game.

 

Would be great if they went for something a bit more exotic nest time around. Maybe something like Venice or Moscow perhaps.

 

Ya come to think of it Moscow would be cool,
especially in the snow and around the Kremlin.

 

To top of it you'd have Russian mafia. It would probably make the missions even more violent but I wouldn't mind it if it was like that Viggo Mortensen movie, Eastern Promises.

 

Going back on someones answer paris would actually be a really good location! You have on one side the glitz and glamour and then on the other a lot of deprived areas so to speak would make for a great mix!

 

i think gta brazil in the hard streets. making his way around the world by drug dealing and busting up random civilians!

 

I think that any big city in the world will make a great setting for GTA. When a place is labeled a city, it's usually littered with cars and buildings. Even a third world country like mine has cities crowded with cars and people.

 

I can't imagine how dull a GTA game would be if it took place Ukraine. I guess on the funny side, cops would constantly pull you over for a bride and you would meet way more crazy drivers than in San Andreas.

 

I live near Stockton, and I know its one of those cities you don't want to be outside your car (or in it that matter) for very long. I generally make sure I don't stop for anything in Stockton if I have to drive somewhere.

 

Why not just create a whole new city, A one who's not known in real life, but still if there were GTA London that would be awesome.

 

Haha yea that would be awesome. I think it would also produce a really nice scenery for us to enjoy with the improved graphics nowadays and their dedicated developers.

 

Yeah! I would love London in GTA. It would be really amazing. I want the developers to put London in the game.
