For anyone interested in picking up the game for a discount and didn't buy the game during the huge steam sale last week, MXGP2 is on sale for 30% off leaving the game at 35$ - A price it's well worth if you ask me. The DLC and season pass are also all on sale for 30% as well, I'll likely be picking that all up for what seems like a pretty decent price.
I always wait for games to be around the $20 price for me to get them, but this seems like a great chance for people who can't wait to get it at a pretty good value.
Agree. I missed the discount last week because I was heavily busy with other things going on. However, 35$ seems to be a good amount for a game that seems to be gaining a lot of attention on this forum. I've already played it quite extensively on my brother's account. I simply have not gotten to buying it myself.
I'm a usually a big proponent of waiting for games to go on deep discounts, but I think this price is pretty good given how relatively recent the game is. If you're interested, it's worth picking up in my opinion, especially at that price. If you're not that interested though, it might be worth waiting for a deeper sale.
Thanks I always wait for sales especially for games I'm not familiar with. Seems like a great time to finally try this title out.
I'm really interested in it and see myself enjoying it very much. With that said I do have a good amount of games in my backlog and would probably do better waiting for a deeper sale on it.
Thank you very much for the wonderful news. I was just waiting for this and I knew that the price will be lowered and now, I will surely buy it. I really love the price and I think I can easily afford it .
It certainly does make some people wish they'd waited just a little bit longer before they bought the game. It can be annoying to pay full price for the game only for the prices to be slashed one month later.
$35 is pretty decent for the game, I paid the full price for the game but I don't mind because it's worth it. I wouldn't pass up the discounted season pass as well, you get a lot of extra stuff.
Many of my friends told me the same fact this morning. I was amazed by the price when my friends told me. I bought it earlier and I had to pay the original full price but the enjoyed the game earlier than any of my friends.
I think this is a really good price range for the game. I paid $50 for it really soon after it came out, and I don't regret spending any of that money. To anyone that's on the fence about this game, I highly recommend it. The amount of replayability you can get from it is really high, I've clocked in over 150 hours since it's release. That's not a lot in the grand scheme of things, but I try to play it whenever I can. When I first got it, I was absolutely hooked, even though I really sucked at it! The discounted season pass is also a really nice thing to buy. I haven't gotten it yet, but I'll buy it right after I finish this post. The game is well deserving of my money, and I'm happy to help the devs in any way I can! If you guys have any friends that are looking for a fun game to play, please be sure to get them to check MXGP2 out! Multiplayer games have been a little scarce for me lately, so more people playing would be great!
Yeah, you don't need to regret because the game is worth it and you even enjoyed playing the game before than me. That's a wonderful fact.
This is one of those games that I would, and already have mentioned, that it's worth picking up on sale rather than paying full price for, so the price of around $35 in the steam sale is just about right. I'm not saying the game isn't worth buying, but I'm not sure that any game is worth paying full price for these days, and especially not when it seems that the price drops are coming sooner after launch day than ever before. Why pay $65 when you can pay $35 a couple of months later?
Oh thanks for telling us, now maybe I could get one for my friend without wasting a lot of money . I always love when sales come since they're usually really good on steam, but I can't know about every sale so yea lol.
Steam sales can be a bit hit and miss in my experience, and while they do offer some bargains quite regularly, as you say we can't keep up with every item that's for sale at every given time so the main way we'll find out is trough forums such as this and other members keeping their eyes open as well.
Really? Is it 'too much' for you? I also thought that at first but after buying the game for the price, I think it is worth it. You will never regret after you play the game just once. So, go for it.
Actually, the information about the sales are displayed only on the official websites and that is why everyone finds it difficult to find the information.
That is really good news for those that waited. They game is worth every cent and who ever gets it now is in for a treat.
