Yes, it's possible. But it all depends on the settings of your computer. Surely you'll have to have a very powerful computer to play it. But it's worth it (at least for me) because I like the practicality of the laptop.

Although I haven't run DiRT 4 rally game on my laptop I do think if your system meet some requirement it should work. In terms of Windows 7 and 8 your computer should meet the required CPU, adequate ram size, enough disk space and others.

Just for curiosity :D: What would be a more detailed specification that you would recommend, for example? :)

You have PS4 so you should be able to run the game just fine. And based on your laptop configuration, I can see that it can run the game too. I think RAM and graphics if required can be upgraded. So yes, this laptop do just fine for now.

Laptop is always the best choice to play the games. Obviously, taking into consideration the specificity of each one of them.

Not all the time. Most of the modern games require the graphics card. And also the base RAM has to be good. Anything above 6GB is good enough for gaming. Rest we just have to pull off in a better way. So desktop is better than laptop in this context.

I guess with RAM as high as 4GB. The problem lies with CPU it seems. Becuase 4GB is more than enough for the game. It seems like processor or maybe registry and the HD space. That could be one issue. This always affects for sure.

Your system meets the minimum requirements ( but just barely ), so you should be able to play the game. Don't expect spectacular performance or graphics.

I think it all depends on your specifications. I am having a gaming laptop and I have many options to update it. It is better to play the games on PC but if you have a laptop with high specs then you can use your laptop for gaming. Check your laptop for other games similar to Dirt Rally, if other games work well then it will run too.

You can just go right ahead and check the Dirt Rally specs required on their official website. It is much easier this way, I promise.

Well according to Game Debate, the minimum requirements are:
    • OS: Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8.
    • Processor: AMD Athlon x2 Dual Core or Intel Core 2 Duo Processor @ 2.4Ghz.
    • Memory: 4 GB RAM.
    • Graphics: AMD HD5450 or Nvidia GT430 or Intel HD4000 with 1GB of VRAM.
    • Hard Drive: 35 GB available space.
    • Sound Card: DirectX Compatible soundcard.
Your specs exceed all of these, so I think you'll cut it easily.

Seeing GT430 as the GPU minimum, it's not a game that his laptop will have a hard time on. He could try for at least a medium graphics settings @ 720p or 1080p and still enjoy good framerates.

Yes. It is possible. As long as your laptop will cooperate haha.
