What is your choice of movie? Do you prefer a foreign movie or do you prefer an American made film? It's hard to decide, because I love my foreign films, but I also love my American films. Foreign films appeal to me more in some ways, because they're different in so many ways, the culture and everything.

Definitely hard to decide, depends if you mean foreign as in non-English or foreign as in in English. If the movie is in another language and I have to go off subtitles then its a whole lot harder to take seriously and get into.

I'd take both if the hype is high enough to draw my attention. But mostly it's American films. They still dominate the industry. Subtitles don't bother me at all.

Well because I am not American, all Hollywood movies are foreign movies to me. Quite a few movies I like are British and German, even though I watch a lot of Hollywood movies. Subtitles are not really an issue. In fact, I actually prefer watching subtitled anime as opposed to dubs.

Really doesn't matter to me at all what language a film is in, as long as it's good.

I prefer mainly American films, but I do like the occasional foreign film. The Spanish film "Pans Labyrinth" is a fantastic movie, and it's all in Spanish. Some French films are quite good too, and it's interesting to see how cinema differentiates depending where it was made.

    Well isn't this post Americo-centric.

Anyway, I love some good Quebec film. Incendies is my favourite movie!

I watch mostly American films and American adaptations of foreign films.
I don't watch many foreign films. I think the last one I saw was Battle Royale and I didn't like it.

Well I do like to watch French and Spanish movies. But there is no place like home when it comes to me and my American movies.

    This one among other.
    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0363163/

    Mainly because of this scene.

I was very disappointed when he didn't talk about Torres joining Chelsea.

I actually didn't see Hunger Games and never had any interest in doing so.

The Sequels might do better but about foreign movies. . .

If I must watch a foreign movie then it must be Chinese. I don't watch them for the stories [there's hardly any great story] but specifically for the unarmed combat scenes.

As for American movies — only comedies will do for me.

I mostly love American movies because they really have their formula down and are the best at it, in my opinion. I still like a few foreign films, but I usually gravitate towards American movies for the most part.
