I'd imagine most of you do have a car (or a bike). What model? Is it tuned? Are you doing any body or engine work? Do you even know how to open the hood?
A pretty standard 1.2 Vauxhall Corse for me. No tuning or modifications really apart from some nice speakers
I have an old 2.2 Accord dead in the parking lot with a busted transmission control unit. It died soon after doing some back-breaking upgrades. Couldn't have asked for better timing. I'm thinking of buying a horse now. Can't decide on the color.
I've got a 1.8ltr 1969 MG BGT in classic white, chrome bumpers, chrome door trims and wire wheels. I purchased it as an investment opportunity and to save myself some money on my insurance as a first time driver.
Damn, you win this thread. That's a pretty classy ride, TheRev6591. So, how's the maintenance on something like that? I'd imagine spare parts are hard to find.
The maintenance is one of the reasons I bought the car, it can all be done by a novice. I've got a friend who does up classic cars for a living and agreed to work on mine for free as if I'm there with him. He's teaching me the ropes so to speak. As for the parts, it's incredibly cheap. Every single part is still made in England new, there is nothing you can't buy. For example, I just changed all the radiator hoses, the front indicator mounts and side lights, and re wired the headlights. All came to £58 in parts (including delivery). I managed to fit the lot in one Sunday. It's incredible how easy it all is. With the internet and a Haynes manual, anything can be done by a novice.
I look for quality, so don't judge me ok.... 2009 ML350 Mercedes. Once you get used to it, it is really hard to switch to a regular car. Oh God that sounds snobby, but a girl likes what she likes.....
Ugh, this kind of chat always bring me down. I play racing games, because I can't afford a sweet car. The last car I had was a Yaris, yes, I'll see myself out.
Don't do that. It took me awhile to get there. But I proved to myself I can do anything I set my mind to! I even had to fix my own credit to prepare for this deal. I was in the mid 500's and got it up to high 600's.... so my hard work paid off
I have an old Mercedes E 220. I love that car! It has a very nice feeling of gas. Riding it is so nice. It is an old car tho so I get a lot of issue with the engine and whatnot. I got it for 4k euro long time ago.
I've got two legs with this great attachment called "feet". They're equipped with the super rare item known as "shoes".
