Gran Turismo is a classic by many means and every game always captures that glory. I remember playing Gran Turismo 2 and enjoying how polished it looked at the time. Now we're going to be seeing yet another Gran Turismo on the PS3. I can only imaging how great this game is going to be along with how pretty the visuals will be. I kind of wish it was going to be released on the PS4, imagine the graphics then.
Gran Turismo has its own ways of attracting consumers at a marketing level. That makes it difficult because now they have to compromise two things. Listen to their fans or compete with their rivals. To think about that it is quite a headache to try to release new products on a specific date.
Gran Turismo is a good game and has unbelievably good graphics like Forza but we don't know what the graphics are going to be like so i'm not sure really will it be like GT5 or have its own touch.
I'm looking forward to the new games, but at the same time I wish they'd add in something fresh. Maybe some sim/management elements.
The first mistake was entering into an exclusive contract with Xbox. It gives them less access to new players across the board. I've had the pleasure of playing up to 4, but never got around to 5. What's 6 offering that people are actually interested in?
Obviously GT6 is going to look pretty. The developers have always been very meticulous when it comes to the visuals of the game. And since GT6 will be the swan song on the PS3, then they need to make it look the best of the bunch.
There's no doubt that the artists have been working hard to make the graphics look photorealistic. Hopefully they'll make the crashes look realistic for once, too.
I agree. Every year graphics get better and better. I'm sure without a doubt that the graphics in this game will be amazing. I for one, can not wait.
It does look extremely pretty! There are several things that Kazunori Yamauchi has acknowledged that fans have asked for but has not put into the new game (perhaps in later installments) such as gear box failures and dirt and sand clogging the engine. But I don't think the lack of fan requested features takes anything away from Gran Turismo Six. I think it will do just fine without them... for now, Gran Turismo Seven may need to start added them in though.
Every addition to the GT series has been aesthetically pleasing in my view. I believe GT6 will no doubt be the sharpest yet, and I'm keen to see how graphics have improved since GT5. Polyphonic have sure made a lot of claims that GT6 will be of big improvements so this is quite exciting.
The GT series has always had beautiful looking games. The newest addition is expected to go beyond the aesthetics. I hope that it lives up to my expectations.
It definitely is going to look pretty without a shed of doubt as it's going to come out on next gen console. am pretty sure that it would benefit from the more raw power of the console.
Ah, but of course, it's what's on the inside that counts too! Hopefully the games performance will match it's graphics!
I absolutely love the gran Turismo franchise. I think that this is one of the most realistic driving/racing sims out there. I do play it on the Xbox 360 system, but wish it was available other platforms. I have a PS3 think the game would play nicely on.
The graphics are certainly good for the GT series but I feel like they don't take good enough advantage of it. I'm talking mainly about things like crash damage. When you have a car that looks so realistic, it's really immersion breaking to crash into something at high speeds and see little more than a small dent.
I think the graphics are great but they're not as mindblowing as the first GT game in a new console usually is.
It may look pretty but what about Physics and damage? I am way more interested in Physics advancements.
I'm more than happy with both the physics and graphics. Damage on the other hand I admit Polyphony aren't exactly the best at. Are you confused? You couldn't have played the game on the 360 because Gran Turismo never hit that system. And it's ALREADY on the PS3.
Lol, I completely missed that, nice catch. Maybe he switched the console names around? Only explanation I see...
